(A year late): Tested in my game - I killed both the ghosts before the yellow guys, and still managed to get the throwing knife. Just thought you might like to know. :)
@aleuthewolf Depends on how it is used. Lemeza here certainly disagrees with that statement, as money in THIS game is the root of a lot of really cool items.
For me, the giant's mausoleum is home to my favorite music in the game, as well as a nice, easy, straightforward level to play through (other than that boss of course)
At least the giants were nice and at least TRIED....that's all i'm going to say to avoid spoilers for the people that haven't seen this before, i'm sure everybody else will get joke.
Dwarfed? Is that a word?

Frogger is vital to unlock the boss. I always knew it,

I like the song of the giants mausoleum

To this day I can't figure out how you changed direction mid-air at 7:13 or so. From the sound of it, you were as surprised as I was.

Have you seen the sketches for the possible remake of this game? They have sketches already for this area.

The legends you could tell about La-Mulana...? I suppose you could tell the Legends of the Hidden Temple.

I get the music stuck in my head and can't get it out.

"We're Back, a La-Mulana Story", hey, that's a Dinosaur Story reference! I loved that book!
Also, I love the music in this area too. Just about my favorite track in the game.

My favorite music in the game is here.

isn't money the root of all evil?
aleuthewolf 3 years ago
NO!!!
DeceasedCrab 3 years ago
Oh sure, you say that now.
aleuthewolf 3 years ago
Mario! He loves coins and he's not evil. Link gets Rupees and he is a good guy.

POWER is the root of evil!
And as the saying goes, "Knowledge equals Power."
So does that mean that Knowledge is the root of all evil???
Hm...
MikailCaboose 3 years ago 8
Only if it is squared. Otherwise it is the square root of evil.

Giant's Mausoleum is my fave music in the game. :)

Hey, DC! I can't wait till you fight "SAKIT".
(the boss of area 2) When & if they make a rock remix of "Giant's Rage", you should use that in the fight with the boss.

(Pssst - you gave away a little bit too much of the story, we're not supposed to know Mother came from the stars yet)
xwdishere 3 years ago 2
Yes, DC. You must fight Sum Gai once again. He was a cruel Giant, as he was opposed to return Mother to the sky.

Hm, DC, I hop you don't mind me asking this completely random and unexpected question...
but why do you hate White Wolf?
(...I guess asking doesn't hurt)

Because it produces the terrible.

Giant's Mausoleum probably has the best BGM in this game.

GIANTS ARE FIRED! ... I can just see a giant Donald Trump in his boardroom with the other giants...
Also did you offscreen the first boss? I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering 'what's up with that?'
Loving the revisit so far, keep em coming!
darktetsuya 3 years ago
Nah. I just haven't fought him yet.

That has to be some of the fastest moon/sun/star puzzle solving I've seen. It took me like, many minutes to get all three suns m first time T_T
Great work. I like how at the end you say, "Whatever, we're playing La Mulana again." -- it's like some informal reference to the LP title itself 8)

Wow DC ur on Wikipedia! Just look at the external links in the La-Mulana article!

So, are the white paper-things that you're setting down set up the warp points?
TheHelldragon 3 years ago
Those are weights. They're the game's equivalent of keys, and they do many magical mystical things. Like make jaws fall on you.
