That might speed up your wrapping time, or might be too much effort for the end result.
I love the odour of pine tar, it always reminds me of the wax you put on your cross-country skis. That ski wax really has a special smell.

I turned the fan off and my respirator off to do video. The fumes got to me a little, so I sound a bit affected by the solvents in the air.

@Raxarax Hi, the 15 feet / hr includes rubbing lanolin on wire, wrapping with the cloth hockey tape, serving wire and then painting the service.
