Fraps Records 2-15 sec videos,An when i look at them,i see a green/black screen.

XFire simply cannot detect minecraft.

And you must pay for Camtasia.

I want to record good quality videos's,without paying anything.

Do you have any solution to the Xfire problem(Which would be much better,becauseIt is already installed on my Pc),or another website,that you do not have to pay to use.

Cannot get it to work either. Windows 7 user here. Downloaded the latest xfire, browsing for manual detect doesn't work as no window shows (apparently a common issue), so instead i placed the exe file in the appdata/roaming/.minecraft folder and it automatically detected it from there. Record doesn't work as expected but even with (a full version of) Fraps running it still doesn't let me record the game with xfire.

Not sure why myself and others are having problems when you've got it working.

@gerarddude5100 Er, that's not correct. I did it a different way after the browse button didn't work: I haven't done anything to "break" the button but i was forced to find a workaround. Unfortunately while it worked initially there is still no ability to record at the end of it all and it seems a lot of other people here are having the same issue.

Not sure how ReRun got it working but only a small percentage have managed to do the same while following the exact same method.

This didn't work for me. I'm using windows 7, minecraft comes up as installed on my computer, I've got free fraps running at the same time as xfire, and my overlay hotkey is nothing on fraps, and my video capture hotkey is F6. Help?

@NifferdawnGames do you have the frames per second when you turn on fraps. Also you have launch it from xfire and when its up you turn on fraps

i did that but it dident work i did get fraps to record minecraft with the water mark of fraps i dont know if it had sound and xfire can record portal one but not minecraft i did get a chat windown in minecraft from xfire but i cudent get it to let me reply in game and i reinstald xfire after it downloaded an update to include minecraft but its not working still well i do get time played and half of chat
