imo the 1st one was the best of the movies with Mila Jovovich; Degenerated was an original production, but only ok.

For me, Resident Evil ended with part 3, everything that came after was sth new although under the same brand; Part 4 was awesome, but it already lacked the tense of the older games; the latest was a disappiontment all over; the only fun thing is that you have co-op story..

No wonder they keep remaking the first games over and over again..

Nemesis was/is Matt from the first movie/first games. I feel awful about what Umbrella Corp. did to him yet if you think about it Umbrella Corp. is just like the Gov. and Big Corps./Big Comps. today. In the end at least Matt; even though he was transformed into Nemesis, his spirit/soul was still there (you can tell because his eye color changes in the second movie). For me I'm still Carlos + Alice yet Matt has a special place in my heart -is a softie- XD.
