this serves the purpose very well in this position right? the white king cant leave the rook, and the white rook cant take the black rook because of promotion. black would have enough time to bring his king in and target that h2 pawn, right?
I think that maybe you should have marched your king, in the endgame, toward the center first and then toward his h pawn to try to shoulder white's king and prevent it from getting close to your g pawn.

@EpicRoze A CM, actually, which is Candidate Master. It's the lowest FIDE title but still makes you a very strong player.

I thought you could've stopped his king from catching up by centralizing your king, but maybe I'm wrong.

I play French defence myself sometimes, and have had trouble with Qh5 too, even though it still seems too agressive to me.
Maybe black went wrong with g7-g6, weakening the kingside (allthough i'm not sure about any improvements. more study is required).
