I have one of these with the finish removed and it's actually Honduran Mahogany like on the original 50's Les Pauls. I had a Gibson made Epiphone Newport bass from the 60's - the wood and quality of my Teisco blew that one away as well. So many people see a name or a certain look and think bad or good.
Yes... Forget all about an '54 Strats and '59 White Falcons - leave those to the millionaires.
This is for those who know that true vibe and soul lie in the underdog instruments of decades past, and you dont have to spend a fortune to play and have fun thats what its all about! A guitar doesn't have to be valuable to be cool. If it suits your ears, hands, and eyes, that's all you can ask for !
