Thanks for posting a lesson on this great, and often overlooked little gem by Cyndi. And as always, many thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. It's always greatly appreciated!
I really enjoy your tutorials. There is always something to learn for an ear player with limited theory exposure like myself. Thanks for taking the time to create and post them.
Nice Tutorial Dale! Thanks so much! and WHAT? No barre chords!! WOoooHHOoo! One that I can tackle!! Finally got strumming down and soon to be looking at your tutorials with barre chords, But this one works for now!! Thanks so much for taking the time to post your tutorials here and on Vanderbilly!
Excellent as expected, Dale! Thanks for sharing. I remember seeing her perform this tune on the Johnny Carson show (no old fart jokes:). It was a very moving performance. It seems many 80's players loved their Chorus pedals, but with this song it was done right. Keep up the great work!
hello sir! i'm afraid i'm all-2 qualified to be an old-fart myself! She is a unique artist that i've always really liked - again, wish we could sit and pick! Stay well....your friend,
My friend you have brought me so much fun in the past few days with your lessons. I brought out my Tele today and your lesson of Time after Time was right there. WOW!! I have been playing for 2 years and your song lessons are bringing back the fun to playing this beautiful instrument. Thanks!!
I have a butterscotch blonde Fender 52 re-issue with the hot rod seymour pick up. I just found a scratch on it today OUCH!! Dont know how it happened. Having lots of fun with your lessons. Once again thanks, Robert.
Thanks mate, great lesson. Cyndi Lauper is a very talented songwriter regardless of whether you like her style or not. I remember seeing a concert of her unplugged and she is truly talented.
hello sir! I'm a fan and agree 100% with your post - so many artist covering her tunes again shows she is an amazing writer. Thanks for the kind words.....your friend,
Without knowing the title, I don't think I would've know what song this is...good chords though. A little "flange" on this one? You have shorts on...still summertime. :)
Thanks. You and I are about the same age (I think) and I appreciate your choice of music and your teaching style. I don't think you have ever posted a song that I wasn't interested in learning. Keep it up!
nicely done!
