Well Manchester United is the original team- much larger, richer and widely supported across the globe.

FC united was created a few years back as a way of protesting when Malcolm Glazer took over Man United and turned into a business and showed no regard for the lifetime, local fans. He put up tikcet prices etc

So know lots of mancunians support FC aswell as MUFC but choose to go to FC because of the cause, price and atmosphere

FCUM are a team in protest at many things about the modern day football, one of the reasons being Glazers takeover of Man utd. The FCUM fans are all Man utd but decided to make a team that played football how football should be, 3 o clock on a saturday and affordable for all etc.
