It depends. First of all, for this table in OK condition expect to drop a grand or more. For a pretty one, you're talking much more. Otherwise you are living with damage on the playfield, an imperfect (damaged) cabinet, etc.
As for repairs, this a solid state machine, simple "early computers." They are fairly simple if you know what IC's & diodes (e.g.) are & have done PCB work.
If not, and you are not interested in the above, yes, the repairman will probably be your friend.
I'd like you to give me this pinball for free. You have to deliver it too.

This machine kicked big time back in the 70's when I played it as a kid in Grand Bend Ontario!!
