personally, it hink amputechture is the best, just... ugh idk. as a musician, the complexity of amputechture is amazing. the latin vibes of this album are tremendous as well, they essentially made their own genres with those two albums.

if you listen to amputechture with head phones on you can hear that almost every guitar part is stacked with several arpeggios all playing at once. its just a masterpiece. but bedlam rocks harder...

I love this band, but I don't feel like they would translate well live. There's just too much precision and effects required for everything to still sound coherent live. And even though they use a huge number of instruments, the song needs every part, and every part has to be played absolutely perfect.

I don't know, I've never been too impressed with their live videos. Especially because the vocals are awful.

i doubt it'll be on the next album. the chord progression Omar's playing is exactly the same as the chorus of Agadez... the band has a habit of improvising the intros to their songs. but i wish it would be on the next album.

this is the shit dude. you're off by a million miles on slagging off the intro. that's cedric & omar at their symbiotic best. that shit was just as hott as anything off Bedlam, if not perhaps cooler and the transition into Agadez, which itself is a great song, was seamless.
