How do I change my weapon damage? I keep getting crummy stuff when I try changing it.

(I've had Hero Editor for a LONG time. I've added skills on hit, more life, fade, etc, all that good stuff, and poison damage, etc, but I can't change something like "50 to 97 one-hand damage" to something different. Is that only changeable with weapon enhancing? Like +511 enhanced weapon damage?)

I just started reinstalling Diablo 2 again (as blizz is still dragging their damn asses on the carpet with Diablo 3), and there arent any trainers for the game, so I figured I'd try this.

I like the game, i just want to play it at a relaxed sort of pace, just to play through, yenno? Gonna beef up my character's stats but not give him any unique gear or anything. I still want to PLAY, I just dont want to die ;)

@danitje44 No, no, no! I changed the damage and the enhanced damage of the weapon i need to the max (I play Amazon so I used bow) then, in the jungle map (Maybe Act III), when facing the group of Fetish demons, just cast a "Multiple shot" into them and in the blink, all of them were history.

This mod works with boss too (but not Diablo boss).

hero editor sucks and NOT WORKING....as u build and create your customized character on hero editor spending endless time into it. in the end as u try to save an error msg pops up telling you that it is an invalid character name (legal) and files. so that means you have just wasted all your time and now the stupid shit douse not work! thx hero editor!!

@ICEFROST777 yes you can use hero edito to give your self a lvl 32 spell from another character< to get lvl 99 you need to carry 3 of them iteams. i would just add it onto a charm. the only spell i recomend using is smite anyways.

Well, actually the one thing I like here is the fact that you can unlearn skills and get the points for them. I'd very much like them to add something like that in the game (patch or something) or in Diablo 2. Would be nice since when you start a game you don't know you'll be needing (the first couple of times of course) and it feels crap if you've learned a spell to a certain level that appears to be crap later in the game. :)
