When i was in africa i was going into the sea with a guide he grabbed a stock and punched the fish all the water get purple realy weard it was a lot of potion
Yes, I'm always wary of them while cleaning the tanks at the Aquatic trading co. We get all sizes, wish i still had my tank. I snorkel/scuba off the beach here in broward and palm beach county, florida and i see them all the time. OOO and the website is aquatictradingco . com.
that looks nothing like a lionfish they're striped a reddish brown and white and dont live on the seabed, and a stonefish is the most venomous fish not poisonous :)
Same family both poisonous google stone fish and scorpion fish images then you be the judge. I have seen many of these just off of Boynton inlet close to shore in lobster shelves
Awesome! I am fascinated by all dangerous/venemous/poisonous animals, and had the good fortune of finding a stonefish when I was snorkeling in Tahiti. It's so exciting to see these things in the wild.
i duno that, i wouldnt want to touch that fish at all.
some dude on a scubadiv site profoundly declared he had stepped on stonefish twice the same day, what a damn moron i was thinking, for the first, if that was for real he wouldnt even thinking of gettin in the water after the first incident, what a silly liar. i nearly sent him an email, to say : GET REAL! one do not claim such stupidity, well perhaps the fish he encountered was really not the right specimen at all.
my dad told me about this big fat guy who stepped on a stone fish. it took SIX fully grown men to hold him down on the boat to hospital (he was in that much agonizing pain).
You'd need the money for hospital bills/funeral costs. Even if you lived, you would be in incredible pain for hours.
Don't assume that something is harmless just because it's small. There are a lot of tiny things in nature that have killed bigger and stronger men than you.
I was face to face with a stone fish scared me so much cuzz I tried swimming away and it was following me I was like ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh GET AWAY lucky I had fins on.
