The only time Joan pulled off wearing a dress was when she was a little girl--very cute and girly. As an adult, she is a bit butch even though she wears makeup. I guess she is more futch. She is an attractive woman but she needs to stay away from the dresses.

she doesn't and to be franck I remember that when she goes "drifting" towards the building, she not only throws away her purse but also gives away the dress. Actually there is a scene where she gets in the elevator and a woman says "that's a lovely dress". She looks at her like "you've got to be kidding". In the next scene she walks out in her underwear, having left her dress in the elevator.

I remember seeing this particular episode & was shocked to see Joan as in it! She is a good actress, does anyon e out there know of any other roles /shows/movies she's been in? Lemme know. Something else I noticed a while back,is Catherine Bell of JAG,owes her career to looking like Joan with boobs.The passata soto is the fencing move he uses to beat her.He'd been teaching her earlier in the episode,but she was cocky and ignored the teaching.Beating her with the move was another lesson,letting her live was hoping she might actually learn some humility.

Duncan actually wins a sword fight with her at the end, but spends time explaining to her what a "passata soto" is, and she passes out before he can take her head, so he lets her live.

Who knows? She may yet be a great actress one day, although singing is probably more her forte. Same with Denise "Vanity" Matthews (Vanity Six), who also guest starred on a season one episode, and has several "B" movie credits on her resume.

Joan,in a dress.A pink dress.Watch her walk though. That's not the walk of a dress wearing woman. That's more gunslinger. The Highlander movies were going nowhere fast. Adrian Paul's Duncan kept the franchise floating. The TV series was WAY better than the movies. And Duncan made the last movie the best.
