Goh has a mid-air throw techniquw,(I forget the name of it) that isn't detatiled in the manual in VF4, and that you wouldn't know existed probably unless you actually practised Judo.I believe the technique was detailed in VF4:Evo.I mean, that kind of detail...astounding.Easily the best fighing game ever made imo(I haven't played VF5 yet, but I'm buying it next week).

OT: Shun Di is the character I like to play. I used to be pretty good with him in VF2 in the arcades and on the Sega Saturn. The VF series rocks! The depth, complexity and realism of the fighting system is amazing.

I think you grossly mistake!! Soul Calibur`s graphic art better, the moves/I mean: sidestep, throws, attacks, etc.../ is best in this fighting game, Tekken 5 DR is almost nothing for that. I so think Soul Calibur was the most spectacular and -created fighting game for every time, besides don`t forget that was Game of Year and has got most beautiful intro soundtrack on PS2 in 2004!!!! Just remember!!!

uhhh... so what if the graphics are better in soul caliber 2. The fighting system for Virtua Fighter 4 is way more hardcore than Soul Caliber. Awards mean shit to me. I care about fun factor, the depth and quality of video games over graphical power. By the way, graphics are equally good for SC2, VF4, and T5.

like I said, Awards mean shit to me. Awards are very bias because most of their targets are mainstream games. I determine which games are good after I play them. I love the game Syphon Filter 1, 2 and 3. But critics thought 2 and 3 are bad but I liked them none the less.

For Graphics, I boldly stated why the graphics are equally good is because I owned all those games and I have played them all and actually compared them. I liked VF4 more is because I like games with complex fighting systems.

Awards may mean shit to you but VF 4 actually got a boatload, especially when it was rereleased as VF4 evolve since it added a lot for a rerelease as a greatest hit. Seriously, every game for the past gen was compared to VF4, it became the standard. How far removed from technical play(a game was) compared to VF4, was the gauge. VF5 didn't get as many awards but it got almost as good reviews and praise.
