It really doesn't look good on a publicist to be looking up unknown acts and skewering them when they are doing the best they can against odds with the resources they have available, are you a publicist or an unsolicited critic?

It really doesn't look good on the musical community at large when mediocrity accompanied by arrogance goes unchecked. An amateur doing his best is admirable. However, this amateur has, THROUGHOUT this page, responded to critique from numerous sources - as a child. Rather than take careful note of the criticism and implement changes, he instead choose to defend substandard work. Reality - if you post publicly, be ready for public opinion... or don't post.

1) Note carefully that when world-class musicians are hired to make guest appearances they do not have a say in whom the backing band is (unfortunately)

2) Defending his public displays of arrogance is deplorable. If sub-standard video & playing is to be posted online for public consumption - then the subject is open to public opinion. I agree whole-heartedly that music is magic. However, I am also of the opinion that not everyone's "thing" is deserving of an audience. And when a man puts his "thing" on public display, he MUST be ready for what the public has to say. If not, he's not ready for the industry. And if he can't respond intelligently to such critique, it's best to not respond at all. All my comments were civil. I was trying to show someone how you play, but I would never send this video to them because it's only an advertisement for 'bad video editing' and THAT'S ALL. It doesn't even have a consistent musical theme. Goes from one short clip to another much too quickly. Hire a new video editor! The last half minute of this 8 minute clip FINALLY shows the band playing, but who is going to sit through 7.5 minutes of BS to get to that point? Just use straight live footage and keep it to 4 minutes.

What are you talking about? the effects on this video are damn good i'd like to see you do any better.On the original video footage the lighting was pretty bad everybody on it was just a shadow except for debs hence all the effects i helena did a fucking good job all things considering.

This is awful. Kick your video editor in the ass. Lose all the useless effects and 1 minute intro. This would work much better as a straight concert clip showing yourself playing LIVE & through an ENTIRE song. No one is going to sit through this orgy of bad video effects, obviously made by an overexcited amateur. It does not help advertise you or your band at all.
