Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion is supposed to be similar in graphics demand and is highly glitchy with even the lowest graphics options on a 4500 mhd.

Oh. Well,a gaming laptop is not all bad,a 8600 mobile graphic card can bring out a high and medium mix,but let me tell you in Fallout 3, medium / high isnt really much of a difference. :-(

2 gigs or more ram and an intel Dual core or x2 AMD Processor 2 Ghz / core recommended.

A 8600 M is a good choice but I would buy a 4500HD if you want to play decent games with decent graphic on a laptop/notebook.

I ended up going for a lighter, more portable laptop with the 4500. It plays NFS:under cover OK at bare minimum settings but hey. I guess this means i have more time for work.

LOL BF2 is an old game... Anyways most games dont just use video its a mixture of ram and CPU.. so if you got decent ram and CPU your lightly to get away with it..... I was running cod 4 with 1.3Ghz single core 1gb ram and 9800pro card... got 25fps with it no lag

sure, Intel came out with the fastest Dou Core and QuadCore EXTREME processors with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM, but anything running it definitely pairs it with Nvidia Gforce muscle

Could try Unreal T 3 on a 4500? Because im going to buy a laptop, and my options are Asus N10 or Asus N20. The N20 got the 4500HD while the N10 got a Geforce 9300m but the ATOM cpu is a huge bottle neck.

seems like intel finally starting to get serious about their igps. if they really worked on drivers and added some sideport memory for their igp they would be doing right well. because their make nice hardware the igp itself the 4500 is quite nice compared to my nvidia 6200tc which this card can pwn but my 9600gt does alot better than this card :D and so does my 8800gt :P but i didnt come here to brag but to say nice card specially for and igp

ya for intrgrated graphics its insane hell to even play bf2 on ingrated gpu is good let alone at decent frame rates and i think why they are getting a bit better is they are putting ingrated memory into the gpus so it doens't steal system memory

Getting a lot better, it still steals system memory but it's doing it faster, and if you have enough memory things will work out, especially if you have fast memory.

Did you get the 4500MHD? There's four versions of the 4500 series for laptops.

Depending on the system and settings, you can get around 40 FPS or so.

If you have enough RAM it'll use plenty of it, it can probably take over 512 MBs of it, you can also play with the settings but it's probably best just to let it work.

CSS requires a 1.2 GHz processor, 256 MBs RAM, and a DX7 graphics card, how tough can it be?

You might even be able to play some L4D and F.E.A.R.
