One of the best versions this side of Maybelle Carter I have ever heard! Wonderful vocals. I like the flat picking too -- everyone always tries to imitate the Carter thumb style -- the guitar-mandolin duet here is new and fresh! Just finished listening to it AGAIN.

Thanks, G, and that's a good question! This one in particular was a request from a friend of mine who played with The Carter Family (I'm supposing some later version of it as he is not much older than me). I think I may just be being super picky about my album material and I just seem to never be pleased with my performance. Maybe I'll review some video footage and see if I can find something I like. I plan on the next video I post being an original instrumental that Brandon wrote.
