@TjvybeZ No, you enjoy the taste. If you were to inhale Pipe tobacco you may as well start ripping the filters off your cigarettes and smoking until your lips burn off.
@AusShinDig you're right about it not being addictive, but actually, even if you inhale it, you won't be addicted because the tobacco is just straight tobacco, no addictive chemicals which they put in cigarettes
@qpzmal543 Nicotein which is the main addictive chemical in ciggarettes is in the tobacco plant itself. There is tobacco in pipe smoking aswell but as you are only puffing and you can use filters it's not as bad as cigs.
Ive been smoking a pipe now for about 4 months and i found this video to be helpful, ive never seen this packing method before and its quite a good tip.
Its taken me about all the time till now just to find my own preferred method of smoking a pipe, and now i have a pritty good method for packing it too.
BTW my regular tobacco is over the counter ST Bruno Flake because its easy to get in my area, but my all time favourite i order from the internet Peterson's Sunset Breeze.
Very nice! I think this should be called "The McGrane Method" as I've never seen it anywhere else before and it looks to be a great way to pack a pipe.
Excellent...it's obvious that he is a gentleman!! My respect. Although I smoke pipe since my 23 years, I have never been a "connaisseur"....I was always refilling my pipe quickly.
Great set of videos I have just Purchased a Stanwell Hans Christian Andersen No 7 Pipe from yourself - and look forward to trying it out - I am moving from cigars to the pipe - Again thanks for the videos they help a lot
Pipe smoking is not addictive. I have gone months without smoking and also enjoyed several pipes a day. It is an art, not a habit. If you ask a nonsmoker about smoking, do you really expect them to know anything about it? It is the safest of all tobacco use. Try it and if you enjoy it, make it a life long hobby. If you don't, at least you know.
@OxygenMcgee Almost all the people agree in that the pipe is less adictive than the cigarette, but some others, almost all the no smokers, tell that is the same
@OxygenMcgee If you just puff on the pipe for taste without inhaling it into your lungs, as pipes and cigars are meant to be done, then it is not addictive at all. You can smoke several times a day and then take a break for a month or more.
@thelaughingguitar Indeed. I saw a gent today in a car smoking pipe and the people waiting for the bus looked at him with rather unusual faces , like he was doing something unusual. i am tired of this propaganda against smoking real things like a good cigar or a pipe. I miss the joy of a Cohiba on the beach while watching the waves with smoking free signs everywhere.
This man! i want to be his friend as pathetic as that sounds

I love the description but it doesn't tell me how to smoke a new pope. :/ I haven't gotten a pope yet but I'm interested in this topic.

Hey, Can anyone tell me how many times you could fill an average medium sized bowl with 25g of tobacco? Thanks.
poloizme 2 months ago
@poloizme Before it would wear out?
StreetThugAalykke 1 month ago in playlist Uploaded videos
@poloizme 25 grams is a lot of bowls worth of tobacco. I'm thinking at least 50.
geddypasto 3 weeks ago
@poloizme An average sized bowl holds about 3-5 grams of tobacco. So 25g would last between 5 & 8 bowls.

great video thanks! Gotta love the politically correct "smoking kills" labels that the Brits put on their tobacco.

I have a question. Is pipe tobacco as addicting if addicting at all compared to, say, a cigarette?
