The chorus is in Tamil because it was not written for the Film song to convert to Telugu. It is a part of "Naalaayira Divya Prabandham" which was written by Alvars in some 9th century. It will be surprised for everyone that the hymns in Tamil are sung daily in Tirupati and Guruvayur Temples which are part of 108 Divya Desams of the Vaishnavaites. In South India Tamil was used mainly in the Vaishnavaites Hymns and Songs.
