  • Those are nice. Im going to stick with the Behemoth Super Knife.

  • It took me 2 months to make a normal knife into a butterfly knife. PROFIT

  • An extinct animal damn sure doesn't care if it's bone has become a knife handle and neither do I;it's already extinct;now if it was blue whale bone then be pissed because they're still here and in danger because of Japan mostly!Snakeskin who cares?

  • lame ass knives u could buy from any factory.

  • nice knives. make em outta what you please. i breed snakes so idgaf wht you kill. xD just dont kill mine and were good

  • what could the knife at 3:56 be used for?

  • that last one looks like the crkt razel

  • im really likeing that black cord wraped knife on top

  • the knives are cool except the last one.......

  • Special & unique !

  • man his knives are pale combared to barry dawsons!

  • Comment removed

  • im not going to argue!Your opinion is your opinion. But I am a soldier with australian 3rar and i carry a dawson.I own both dawson fighter and hunters and also two McGowans. And although the dawson is more expensive i find them fare superior in quality. But thats me for what i do not you!Hope this helps!

  • @CONSTRINGACY It does........but there are TONS of better makers just the same as their are tons of better makers than McGowan....my point.....personal opinion. One good smash deserves another................Dawson's knives are of a different category than McGowan's SIMPLICITY isn't Dawson's thing. I had an old, short Dawson hollow handle made of carbon steel. The tip broke while trying to break the pelvis of my Elk. No5t my first choice to do the job but it SHOULD have held up.

  • Here's a Dawson that's been posted on Ebay 5 times.....I've already sold 11 knives for a total of $3375.00 in the time that this DAWSON has been listed. Also, there is a dealer in your neck of the woods who will offer MY line of knives and he doesn't carry Dawson. BUT, strictly a matter of opinion-agreed.Ebay USA item #: 270541098669

  • dude that dawson is a peice of old worn out crap thats why it hasnt sold!

  • It's never been used! How can it be 'worn out' and you said it best "WORN OUT" even if it wasn't worn out -the way you talk about Dawson's knives it SHOULDN'T HAVE WORN OUT!!!!!!!! RIGHT??????You proved my point without me actually, purposely setting you up for it...-lol- My knives don't 'WARE OUT" so why does Dawson's?? I'm done with you aussie boy, all in good humor IF you can take it that way...Come to AZ i'll show you how an indian does it -lol-.

  • @acliffordknives -lol-

  • @npatler Right!!! lol....I had to read what my uncle wrote, he was injured in a shop accident and will be recovering for awhile. i'm taking care of his knives.....James McGowan is a good guy!! He's not in this game to 'outdo' anyone.....Dawson is a design thief!!! It's no news to anyone.......making a knife that is similar is one thing but copying a design, then claiming you were the first to do it and the "original" designer is outright forgery!! DAWSON IS JUST THAT, A FORGERY ARTIST!!!!!

  • Barry puts something of himself into everything he makes. His knives and swords are handed down from generation to generation.I wouldnt hand down a McGowan because they are basicly a shank which are strong and do the job well but have no beauty or balance. Not worth handing down to you son,That is the difference in my opinion. Also barry has been featured in hundreds of knife mags and won countless prestigious awards, unlike McGowans 5 XD

  • @CONSTRINGACY AND THAT'S WHY A KNIFE MAKER MAKES KNIVES 'TO WEIN AWARDS".................Thanks for your input, though....much appreciated....

  • Yeh i have a few dawsons i did have a tac McGowan M.A.K but it was $100.00 junk throw away so i sold it and got another dawson.Another guy took the words right out of my mouth, DAWSON KNIFES CAN BE HANDED DOWN FROM FATHER TO SON. McGowan knives are just use and throw away.which in them selves is not a bad thing but i prefer to drop my money into a real blade rather than a McGowan or cold steel!

  • @Deathninja5 No doubdt Dawson's are better than Cold Steel.....I don't, won't and never wanted to own a Cold Steel knife. I'd buy a Coin Cox knife before I would a Dawson.....I had one and it just wasn't the best $360 spent....as mentioned it broke while splitting the pelvis of my elk. I have never broke any of MY OWN knives while trying split an elk pelvis or any pelvis of a deer. Though I don't know you personally I NOW KNOW guys who own Dawson knives who actually use them. Thanks -lol-

  • Thanks.

Just so you know, Mammoth Ivory comes from an Extinct Animal. National Geographic tells me that the last mammoth died 4000 years ago.

  • thats fuckinggggggg funny dude!

  • @customtacticals holy crap your smart!!

  • yeah, because fire fighters are known for their love of animals... you fucking moron. Ivory and snakeskin look good, grow a spine. it's not like he's making a fucking grand piano, its a fucking 3" handle.

stupid animal lover sack of shit

  • @nickbownz can i kill you and make a knife handle out of your bones please ?

  • @nickbownz so it doesnt die because he is using less of the ivory? you dumb fuck!!! In reality what it looks like means shit!!!! I have never seen someone who actually uses a knife pull it out look at it first then use it. Fucking poser!!!

  • @nickbownz Now that's not very nice, good sir.

  • @nickbownz that shit was sooooooooo freakin funny when i read it!! but i totally agree!! LOL

  • @kukulkan07 arrogant little shit. Not everyone gets a boner looking at endangered critters. go hug a Burmese python.

  • @crimsonspade308 If you don't like my comment is OK you are entitle to your opinion just like I am. If you wish to have an intelligent discussion then so ask, but instead you start with insults, It makes me think that you are some 14 year old kid that has no manners, but if you are not a kid then perhaps you should mature some more before posting comments on you tube. Is funny you call me arrogant when it is you who has the arrogance of insulting my opinion using foul language.

  • @kukulkan07 There's no such thing as foul language, that shit was a control ploy by the same kind of people who do that politcal correctness bullshit. You're an animal rights activist vegetarian that can get the proteins needed from their diet so they take pills that are tested on animals you a fucking oximoron

  • @crimsonspade308 You are very wrong, but then again of course you will be. you don't know anything about me so you assume, and assumption is a bad habit. I am far from a vegetarian nor I am an animal rights activist nor I am trying to control you. Whom ever you are you need to do more research regarding the sale of exotic materials such as ivory ,and precious woods. Please do your self a favor and educate your self, you can speak your viepointsclearly with out any vulgarity.

  • @kukulkan07 maybe you should educate yourself Mammoths are dead as disco and not all snakes are exotic. If you are going to piss and moan about animal rights it's going to be clear you are an animal rights activist or are a vegetarian. if you are neither then you have no reason to comment or slander a firefighter on his morals. how bout this one get out of your computer chair and walk into traffic you self righteous ass

  • @crimsonspade308 Look kid it is clear to me now that your not capable of having an intelligent argument with anyone that is not 13. One of the reason's that you tube ads a comment section is to express one's opinion over the video shown, I explain this to you in a prior message yet you fail to understand. If the user in the video don't like the comments then he should disable them period. I did not insult anyone in fact I like the review. Get your head out of sand and think before you speak

  • @kukulkan07 whatever, you can't even back your own arguments and whenever I make you look like a clown you change the focus. go eat poison sumac. I'm done with you.

  • @crimsonspade308 Believe what ever you want kid. I made a mistake you must be 11 years old, if you can't handle an intelligent argument so go sit in the kids table because with your type of attitude no one will want to listen to what you have to say, and one will ever take you serious. Please do your self a favor, learn to think before you speak.. Mature a little..is for your own good.

  • @kukulkan07 god damn i hate you animal rights fuckers...

  • i meant those 3 knives i just posted my last comment before watching the whole video hehe

  • 154 CM: Carbon 1.05 %; Manganese 0.5%; Chromium 14%. A high carbon alloy, a very hard steel, first used for knifes in 1972. Used for combat knives by companies like Gerber and Benchmade.

nice choice for those two knives

  • good for cutting nose hairs

  • the last knife you showed is definately a very nice knife if i were to chose one of those knives it would definatly be the last one.

  • Those are some lovely knives dude,

I have to agree the last one is a fantastic design.

  • nice

  • that last one is just visually stunning. A knife? or a piece of art. 5 stars!

  • OMG

that thick one is SO BEAUTIFUL

    MINIMALIST AND UTILITARIAN

    jesus christ

    -hero

  • do you have custom made japanese swords, knifes ?

  • hey those are some cool knives, how much did you pay for the one with the snakeskin handle?

  • Then you probably shouldn't buy one..

  • k dude the function of most knives is for utility purposes and self defense if the need occurs. if your going to use a knife for killing, or be in the 'force' which i doubt; your going to get something like a Ka-Bar not a custom knife. custom knives are as he said for firefighters in emergency situations, and if you ever go camping and just want one for utility purposes. obviously you need to learn what knives are for

  • such ignorance..

  • im no expert, but im thinking if the person buying the fancy knives knows alot about knives, he could be a collector.

  • did he say mamoth ivory?

  • yup, custom knives often use REALLY rare and interesting handle materials.

  • ddam ! nice

  • i think i might buy one of his fixed blades...are they good steel?

  • I believe that are mostly ATS-34 or 154CM

  • the only good one is the mammoth ivory one.

  • i like them there like shavers, i like them cuzz there thick
