I found this really cool hairstyle: spiral rods. they take a long time to put in the whole head but after about 2-5 mins of the blow dryer the curls are super cute. Hope this helps.

oh my god, I know exactly how you feel. I took out my kinky twist and there was this extremely kinky fro that I had been avoiding for about two years. I had no idea how to take care of it and most of the sisters on youtube really did not have the coarse hair that I do. I finallly got sisterlocks and only then did I feel able to manage my hair better, but being a loose natural was not fun for me at all.

Oh Girl!! I'm so sorry for your experience..! When I first started on my natural hair it took time to 'LEARN' my hair but I also got very frustrated and tired.. I just kept it up.. Watched several vids and did my research. However if it isn't you then it just isn't..I didn't cut mine all the way off! I cut about 3 inches of and let it grow out. Kept trimming the perm and just worked it..But I do respect your decision even if this is an old vid.. I'm natural going on 3 years.

Oh Girl!! I'm so sorry for your experience..! When I first started on my natural hair it took time to 'LEARN' my hair but I also got very frustrated and tired.. I just kept it up.. Watched several vids and did my research. However if it isn't you then it just isn't..I didn't cut mine all the way off! I cut about 3 inches of and let it grow out. Kept trimming the perm and just worked it..But I do respect your decision even if this is an old vid.. I'm natural going on 3 years.

Girl u r so right some of us just don't have the texture for natural hair, Unless we wear it short & all products don't work the same some hair products just sit on the top an look a hot mess. It's definitely a process to get where ur going when we go naturally.

Why r you portraying urself like this? You have the rite to opinionate ur hair,but don't disrespect a pride of some AA’s. I had more problems with weaves/relaxers; Im more confident, I grew mine 2yrs ago & it’s silky/curly, ur length. AA women may have issues with hair, and they may want 2go natural. Wat is fantasia gel? Educate urself about natural hair, & not just use anything, since others are using it. Let your hair choose. Vitas, foods, & experts can help u. Ur beautiful, show more faith
