  • This is all so true.. init bruv. woo to the queen and that.. ;)

Oh and to all you Americans, We have an ENGLISH accent, there is no such thing as a BRITISH accent.kthanks.

  • what i hate is when americans ask me where im from, and i say wales, then they say "that's in england, right?" -.-

  • @BobolinaBookworm123 ... I hate it when you assume that all of us don't understand that! But i must agree i didn't know the difference until a few years ago... I'm 16... Don't let a few people change your perspective on a nation!

  • Shit little country LAWLZ.

  • Who thinks all English people know the queen? That's not American, that's just stupid.

  • West Witterings, yesssss. Sometimes we mix it up and go to East Witterings. Hardcore.

  • the queen disliked the video.

  • what abt English peeps being posh??!! and what abt u guys always drinking tea and eating fish n chips??!!?!?!? and peeps from up north of England all being chavs?!?!?!

  • @DunWannaTellMyName all true except the first one

  • @TheEnglishBlokey okeys bubbzz :))

  • @TheEnglishBlokey and the last one

  • @DunWannaTellMyName @TheEnglishBlokey im from 'up north' and i aint a chav :)

  • @DunWannaTellMyName not all the north are chavs though... ( not having a go at you js)

  • @DunWannaTellMyName NONONONONO! SOME of us are posh, we drink tea alot but NOT all day, I HATE FISH but ya we do eat it alot, like at the beach there are about 10 fish and chip shops, and its people from essex who are chavs.... though we do have a few posh people (about 20)

  • @DunWannaTellMyName most northerners arent chavs im most defiantly not.

  • Dude… I didn't know that Seattle was in England.

  • Do most people from England have incredibly HUGE hands?

  • "the queen doesn't talk to normal people" who said we English are normal?

  • @saskiamole1 Mr kieran english blokey said innit

  • I feel funny watching this because I don't live in Great Britain anymore and live in Canada, and had to deal with people stereotyping.

  • *blink* agh GRAB THE TOWELS!! Hahahaha

  • Great as usual TEB! Thank you. Don't be offended but I've always thought that you are a natural born comedian, whether you like it or not. Ciao.

  • And for your troubles, j'adore vous.

  • @creativexcreation if you were trying to say i love you in french it is actually je t'aime

  • @TownsendPrincess00 I know. j'adore vous means I adore you, or the more proper way to say I love you. It just sounds prettier.

  • Not rainy, gloomy.

  • the only thing your missing is the English ppl founded Australia and all that business

  • Wait, you said "it's in the sidebar". That seems like forever ago that the description wasn't on the bottom!

  • @sweetsugarplums123 That's cos I'm old skool (with a k)

  • @BBKieranTV or you're just kool like that (with a k) hahah either one.

  • What is the origin of "pip pip tallyhoe" ? I think most stereotypes come from the fact that at one time in history it was true about a group of people or that a segment of a community or ethnic group behaves a certain way but it's used to reflect on all people of the group. For example, I'm black and people automatically assume that I'm in to hip-hop music or rap. In reality, I can't stand either form of music. Also, don't try any of those special handshakes with me because I can't do them!!!

  • lol sidebar...

  • when you guys produce stuff like the Spice Girls and Mememolly you can't be half bad 'do you know what I mean ? "

  • thank you. you really cleared that up for me. do something o doctor who. ^.^

    seriously so it. O.O

  • Does anyone actually believe these stereotypes? That's just silly.

  • As an American...living just West of New England....I am absolutely livid (yes, I use that word...shut up) that you have killed all of my poorly conceived, Monty Python/Doctor Who inspired, stereotypes of your country.

May you be cursed with the fandom of a thousand angry Red Socks fans. ;)

  • :) I've got 300 days of sunshine in colorado, and I'm dead set on going to England and marrying a British man :) I've even got my english flag purse :3

  • I got the joke. 

Everyone I know talks like that. But I'm from erdington/Birmingham. So it's understandable.

    The chavvy idiots. -.-

  • do really UKers have cold personality?

  • I know it's wrong but I picture England like a big Monty Python Show :) ... which, I find, is awesomely amusing, lol.

  • or, you have Southend for those who can't be asked to go far

  • As an American, I cringe when people actually believe some of these stereotypes, and I want to bash their head in when they don't realize that England=/= the whole of Britain.

  • Haha, all of this is ridiculously true, and yes i got the joke :P

  • We'd quite like to get rid of the royal family in Scotland...specially Big Ears and the Crocodile....

  • *sigh* I got that joke.

    Bloody Londoners.

    From an angry Bristolian.

  • lol

  • 1. could you talk about the different english accents (from england) and describe the stereotypical things you assume about people who have the different accents?

    2. where's your hat? put your hat on.

    3. shut up & eat your dog.

    4. when are you overthrowing the royal family?

  • @lamaddussa

Were not going to overthrow the royal family.

    Opinion is to divided.

  • @RedRoosterRoad

if you say so... but i wouldn't count on that indefinitely...

now put your hat on & eat your dog.

  • great video buddy

  • Confusing geography is confusing.

  • You know americans still have a sort of inferiority complex towards british people. For example, i bet more Americans watched the "royal wedding" than British people, no joke, i really think so, and even your accent, Americans think your accent gets all the girls, im not even kidding.

  • were also very modest yay

  • I'm american. And I hate people who think this things.

  • I think English people are very friendly and very warm-hearted!

And I think all English people have a really cool accent!!

Do you think this is true or not??

  • Pffah!

    Grab the towels! xD

  • you forgot tea and crumpets ;p

  • So if you don't wear bowler hats...you must wear fedoras then, right?

  • You were wrong about the rain in the North especially in Scotland as they get about 41 weeks of rain and scattered through this sheet rain there may be a twinkling of sun for about 2 days the rest of the time its a mixture of sleet and driving snow.

  • I'm American and I do not believe any of those stereotypes. I love British people and several of my favorite things are British: Doctor Who and Harry Potter for example.

Also, Cornelius Fudge from Harry Potter wears bowlers but his is lime green xD

@CorruptReaper don't think every American is like that. Canadians are really cool. My cousins husband is from Canada and hes really nice. Plus, if someone is gonna blame a country for producing someone, like Justin Beiber for example, its wrong.

  • do you say bumafag and weljel?

  • @cidrama bum a fag = bum a cig. weljel = ?

  • @Enleuk i think its well jeal actually haha my english friend always says it. doesnt it mean really jealous?

  • SPLENDID!

  • I wear those hats every day

  • I was actually going to link you to the video that Vsauce referenced when you mentioned it in ur video:)

And Canadian here... Trust me, we know all about stereotypes from Americans...-_-

  • The 'suit-wearing man in the bowler hat' comes from the sorts of clothes that London businessmen would wear.

  • Toodle Pip.

  • Agreed!

  • Oh, and the 'Great Britain' comes from the French when they conquered us - they have a Little Britainy over in France. It's not because we think we're great. Just thought I'd clear that up.

  • I survived both an earthquake and a hurricane this well, all so that I could behold the splendor that is the English Blokey.

  • I thought you were going to transition to doctor who.

  • I subbed just coz of this video!

  • Thank you for clearing up the geographical part. I never really understood what was what. :D

  • Comment removed

  • Good video. I rather enjoy the English culture despite some odd stereotypes, I really hope to visit England someday. Also, what kind of job are you doing?

  • lol, Australia has a ridiculous amount of stereotypes, like that there are kangaroos and koalas everywhere.Or the way that we talk, hehe i have not once said G'day in my entire life.

Props for getting up so early :)

  • Lol wheres west wittering beach xD I prefer sandbanks beaches in the south, yeah English stereotypes are rather funny though

  • It rained almost every day when i was there...but not when we were at the Isle of Wight

  • well this changed my view on a lot. thank you hahaha

  • You watch Dr. Who right? lol
