Are they prone to any health problems? I want one, but I know that when you mix two breeds, the new breed often inherits problems the parent breeds may have.

They are a little over a year old now. The Mom is Half Alaskan-Malamute and Half Siberian Husky. The Father was a purebred Alaskan-Malamute.

My friend has one (3 years old) and he brought it over one day to meet my 1 1/2 year old black lab and it bit my lab in the nose and made him bleed. I don't like those dogs..

they are mixed, like as in one of the parents was a husky the other was a mal.
not mixed as in they threw husky pups and mal pups in the same area together.
