Dragonforce called, they want their cliche sweeps back. Learn to be TASTEFUL with your guitar playing, not everything has to be impressive, sometimes you just need to "feel" a nice slow solo. There's a reason Petrucci didnt write a solo over that part.

You got good picking but the sweeps are a bit to fast for the song. Knock it down like 50 beats or so for the sweeps and it should sound fine. Try adding more melodies and less arpeggio's. Again, nice picking!

Sure you are very talented for fast sweep picking licks, and I can't do 1% of the things you do!! But a solo (especially for a DT song) is not only technical stuff, it's a matter of feeling and emotion too...

seriously, spectacular playing and all, but no passion. it was too fast, too much. sweep picking like that should only be done a few times. also there was no rhythm to the solo (which was probably improv, great job).  I didn't like this particular solo, but you're an excellent guitar player.

thanks for the comment. I only use analog delay pedal..and alot of it, since I have no reverb:) but some of my videos actually contain no effects what so ever.just my guitar and rack. and yes that's right, I like to sweep:) but not all the time, as it may seem from my videos!

yes, I have a Triaxis. new one is 2600 eur in Europe, but you can get a used one for 1200- 1300 eur here in Slovenia. In USA, the are much cheaper...around 900-1100$ (not EUR) used. I'm sure you will be happy with this preamplifier, but only if you like mesa boogie sound, because this is pure mesa boogie:D you will also need a poweramp and a guitar box (+ effects processor/pedals) to make the whole setup work..but I'm sure you know all that...tnx for your question, keep on rockin'
