  • video lesson aside, why the hell are you swaying back and forth with the camera on the router that most people in this world have seen 100 times? its seriously making me sick.

  • @seetherfan1328 I don't know... I guess I was hyper.

  • I Uploaded Firmware on my router to ac as a client bridge for my Ham radio romote base. i adjusted RF power and overclocking to penetrate thru a steel shop! Hats of to DD-WRT

  • @Hamradioismyhobby That's awesome! I've been curious about making a long distance remote link using higher power allowed by my ham license.

  • i tried installing this firmware and it never worked after that

  • @marc4life10 You have to be very careful when flashing it over. Always follow every step to the dot.

  • Oops lol i got it for free when my neighbors "technician" told him to get a new one, well he threw it after moths when i saw him outside about to throw it.. I took it in lol used it as a bridged repeater for our light duty stuff this thing still works great

  • I have a Linksys WRT54GS I got from a yard sale for $5 and I installed DD-WRT first thing, I took a risk because I jumped in feet first and I did 30-30-30. I don't suggest to people how bought a brand new router and try to do it because you can brick it. I have 2 Belkin G+ and Mimo I did try to install DD-WRT but would not install. I have my router setup to were My PC and PS3 gets high priority and also DMZed my PS3. I have a WISP"Wireless Internet Service provider" in a Rural Area

  • I am having two WRG54G routers one v1.1 and second v3. Both running Tomato and doing really good. I was thinking to go for DD-WRT but Tomato gives me everything I may need so far.

  • mine has been disconnecting a lot recently, thats how i came across this video

  • @AlienMyth64 DD-WRT should solve the problem as my v6 router has been working flawlessly with the firmware installed.

  • I can confirm that DD-WRT is working like a swiss clock on my WRT545GL v1.1 for over a year and never ever had any trouble with it. BTW, even Buffalo routers leaving the factory are equipped with DD-WRT. That is written on the DD-WRT webpage.

  • @Bandicoot803 Are you able to adjust the snr target on your wrt54gl with the dd-wrt firmware?

  • I have an old WRT54G that used to do the same stuff...

DD-WRT has made a world of difference!
