@SigmaBetaSigma I think that it depends on lens, turn speed (pan speed), and imagine. Se una parte è blu penso che il processore faccia meno fatica a elaborarla. If a side is of a single colour the processor is more able to elaborate it
it depends on the lens, because the group of lenses (on the kit 18-55) moves forward so You' d have problems with the field, with some filters and it is not practical. Pay atention to the lens You buy: if the front lenses moves forward it is not useful for the follow focus(if the focus is on the front moving ring) and for the matte box (you should move the matte box with the zoom or the focus!). On That follow focus one more gear weel opposite would be better to stabilize all.
@BulldogManiaOfficial that were the colours, I just reduced the sky with the mattebox filter nd digradant and I did not change during the editing process
@michelle1920 I was sure it is the same of the camera settings with a lower bit rate but I gave a look to the file and (also if they are very similar): Format : MPEG-4 Visual Format profile : Simple@L3 Format settings, BVOP : No Bit rate mode : Variable Bit rate : 8 482 Kbps Maximum bit rate : 15.5 Mbps Width : 1 920 pixels Height : 1 080 pixels Display aspect ratio : 16/9 Frame rate : 25.000 fps Resolution : 24 bits Colorimetry : 4:2:0 Progressive Bits/(Pixel*Frame) : 0.164
What editing software did you use?

How did you get your panning footage to be smooth? When I uploaded my video, my panning shots turned out choppy/jerky.

@SigmaBetaSigma shooting at a higher fps and editing in proper settings can make or break moving footage.

Does the Proaim Follow Focus works good with the 18-55 Canon lens?
