PR work for the predator.. " see folks, we can do more then just Kill civilians!".. it would be a little unnerving to see one of those circling around
I wonder if they are dropping off some Mcy'D's... thought this was supposed to be a relief mission. Nice seeing a well funded program in use.... ok, not really. lol
for all intents and purposes, google maps does a pretty good job of checking out the devastation in haiti. those fucking spy planes are flying over cuba.(or some other poor central american country)
@zoemayne Uhh... it's something called satellite jamming technology. And plus, you need to see individual units on the battlefield because a satellite can only provide a general picture of the environment.
i think he thought you were asking a general question in regards to the use of unmanned aircrafts. Obviously Haiti is not jamming our satellites. It is a better medium than satellite can be in some ways though for all uses, I think thats pretty much proven fact.
did you ever think that maybe this helps the aide and expands our ability to locate survivors, areas in need and to moniter progress? Why can't we use both? A lot of people have been helped that wouldn't have, I don't see any good in limiting our abilities. It sure costs less to run a UA than something manned and can even run along side of or off the path of rescue choppers, aide convoys etc.
I would say its cool they get to be used for something other than war.

Instead of providing humanitarian aid, the US sends warplanes and troops, lol. Haitians can't eat bullets... they need food
