  • Hey, thanks for the review. I'm thinking about getting one of these for my first gen iPad. All I've had up to this point is a zagg shield. Really glad to see how nice the Portenzos are. Thanks a lot!

  • @kellyflwr - you are welcome.. the portenzo and pad & quill are really good cases..

  • not hard enough....if u drop it its going to break

gumdrop case is the best i think so far

  • I was like 'FU*K!' when you cut open the packaging lol

  • @Raioh87 - lol yah me too.. knife sharper then i thought :) it was ok though nothing damaged..

  • How well does this case stand up vertically (and horizontally) on a slick surface such as a kitchen counter? Also, do you have difficulty typing on it due to the fact that you can't make it sit at an angle? Thanks!

  • those poor moles

  • Thanks for the review! The video editting looks good. Looks like I'll have to get iMovie to make my own review on my customized comp II when it arrives.

  • @tehKettyBear - Thanks for watching... come back and post a video reply with your review of your comp II.. i really like how that looks..

  • this or the octavo?

  • @krmlgrl08 - well.. right now im really diggin my portenzo levant.. im biased though because i really like the light blue interior.. I am from North Carolina so blue is in my blood.. both are really good cases.. only thing i wish portenzo had was a ribbon like the octavo.. but right now i cant really decide which i like best.. if you got either one you would be happy.. :)

  • @BlueRidgeRuckus ok thanks I was leaning more towards the octavo.

  • @krmlgrl08 - Octavo is nice.. did you see my video of my Octavo? only difference really is the octavo is a lil bit thicker along the sides of the ipad.. other then that they are very close in detail and design..

  • Sweet!

  • From 1:17 on - it really looks like there are quite a few flaws in the woodenframe. Ridges and holes. Especially on the left side of the hole for the chargercable.

But also on the other side.

    What is that?

  • @Flaksting - there is a couple of spots that look dark.. and i thought the same as you that maybe the plywood material had fallen out or there were holes there.. but i felt it with my finger and smooth.. not a hole.. its just color difference in the same layer.. its like a optical illusion..

  • I like it sell me the white one

  • Also.. just for reference.. this video i recorded with my digital camera.. transferred to my pc.. converted it using the software i showcase in another video so you can convert videos to .mp4 in a format that the iPad 2 with iMovie can then edit.. and once i got all the editing done.. i used iMovie to record the narration.. i think it came out pretty cool.. it came be done just takes time.. i wish apple would make iMovie import more codecs..

  • Nice video!

  • @xultar - Thank you for watching.. keep checking back.. 23.5 portenzo review coming soon.. :)

  • Please do the 23&1/2 review soon~

Also, please compare the thickness of the new cases to the iPad2 and to the original portenzo case.

  • @h2rulz - 23.5 review has been recoded.. i am editing now on my iPad to go up on youtube later tonight.. if youtube and my ISP will cooperate.. keep watching.. :) I dont have an original portenzo case to compare sorry..

  • Between the octavo and portenzo, which do you like more?

  • @johnnyphu - Honestly right now its a toss up...i haven't had the Portenzot long enough to give a honest comparison.. but i do like how their corners are held in and i like that its a little bit thinner.. I will be doing a comparison video between the octavo and portenzo levant.. and then the treegloo in white vs the portenzo 23.5 but again i have to have more time hands on before i can give an honest opinion of each.. thanks for watching
