are you still 13? you don't know what you're talking about. generally, reverse is the lowest gear. most pulling power. directional tread on tires won't bite as well spinning backwards. and, you don't even have the body mass to properly manipulate and control one of these machines. your mom and dad need an ass whipping for cutting you loose on a 650 atv. period.

he should have just tied the strap shorter. that's it. instead, he stretched it out to where he was a bad spot. he could barely get himself up that little hill, much less get enough traction to pull the other bike
@clutch2746 actually enertia will tug a vehicle out of the mud when nothing else will, the trick is knowing the working load of your strap/chain and hooking it to the frame, tow point, or axel
