This series is invaluable to me. At a time when I was stressing over which program to invest in, I already Virtual DJ, but didn't know how to do it. Already have CD&G...Thanks for your efforts.
But, where is the next installment? I am becoming frantic?
@joannekins Thank you for your positive comment... You are asking about the next installment? #4 is the final installment. Have you seen it? Number 4 completes the series and shows you how to use the Virtual DJ software for karaoke...

@501barako I've used MP3+G Toolz for years. I started with version 2.0.9. Never upgraded to version 3 because I didn't like the way it zipped files. I'm currently running Windows 7 (x32 and x64) and still running version 2.0.9. It runs fine under Win7. I tried to get the newer 4.x up, but it kept erroring out on the install. Look for version 2.0.9. You should be able to track it down, or track me down.
hi ruddogg66, everything worked great , BUT, cant find the software to ZIP the files , please point me to the wright web to down load the software, thanks
Compose: Open VDJ, go to the "Config" tab and open, from there go to "Browser", down near the bottom of the menu you will see "Database" in the "Drive" dropdown choose your external. You need to know what letter it is. then click "Fix", "Check" then "Clean" in that order. Wait for each one to finish before clicking. Then at the bottom click "OK" and then go to the search bar within the program and type a song name you know is on that drive, it should come up now!
Hi how are you. I enjoyed your vid. I am a rookie vdj user, and was finally able to get the time codes working. How do I initialize my external drive into VDJ via Windows XP? I am sick of having to go into the individiual hard drive to pull tracks. I want to be able to type in the tracks that I am looking for. Please help! Thanks
I used cd+g tooz version 4.0 to zip my files after converting with Power cdg burner as your video shows.
However when I open the virtual dj and go to the file folder it doesn't recongnize any cdg's are there even though they are zipped.
Any thoughts on the problem?
Thanks
Jason

@JV4162 There shouldn't be a problem. Check in the config menu of VDJ that .zip is listed in the codecs

@nelsonfunez I'm not sure. I don't run VDJ on my Mac, only with Serato. PC is best for VDJ when it comes to running karaoke with VDJ

The Power CD+G burner i think is only converting a minute of the Karake CD for each song. Do you know why? Do you think i have to buy the software?

@Brendalovee143 Yes Brenda, more than likely that is the issue. It is a worthwhile investment if you plan on using it more than once or twice...

Does MP3G Toolz work with windows 7 or only for Win XP? I downloaded version 4 but can not get it to work with windows 7. Need advice from an expert.

@501barako I use Vista 64 and Mac so I'm no expert on Win 7, sorry! there may be a patch or update, best thing to do would be to Google it
