btw, it does sound like "i can't take it anymore" the anticipative giggle before the voice doesn't do the believability a favor, true, i wasn't there, maybe it wasn't set up by the group involved, it still sounds like (s)he is laughing but tries to suppress it because it's inappropriate, like just before pulling a prank on someone?
@paarsefrikandel in response to your questions...the lady on the camera was the photographers wife who accompanied him, and was not an investigator. The team had just walked into the cavern and were starting to discuss what the medium had picked up when the voice happened.. As for the laughter, that was myself!! I was laughing in response to another member of the team, who says (if you listen closely) "is that a pisshead?". Because that is what we thought it was. But soon realised it wasnt.
Sorry...the words used were "piss artist". Inappropiate words, but it "did" make me giggle. Sorry if my reaction to those words make you think this is a prank. But I cannot prove otherwise....and as I have learnt. since this happened....you cannot prove to others, you just have to find proof for yourself. I still have no answers..even though tests have come up with "unexplained", until I get absolute proof, I'm still sceptical. And that is how I am through all investigations.

Most of the people who live here would be incapable of just walking past if they saw people in the cavern at night. They would make dumb noises like the one on this video. That voice even sounds familiar to me. I'll ask the guy it sounds like about it and, get back to you.

A friend of mine says he saw people in there one night, taking photos, so he put his mouth to the arrow slit at the foot of the staircase, and said "get out" in a growling "demon" voice. I was on a paranormal investigation there, several years later, and the members of the organisation were talking about the time a ghost told them to "get out" of the cavern.
we were not taking photos in there and heard no one say get out! if you read the explanation of the tests that were conducted the next year, you will see that the voice was found to be 3 metres away from us..roughly 40 ft away from the opening of the grill. Tests done by parasychologist simon sherwood and steve parsons, parascience. cant explain anymore, just read the previous posts, otherwise im just repeating myself. not being rude..but only so many times can say results from analysis.
other teams have been there..perhaps he caught them out..i doubt it though. Any team worth its salt will suss that out...sound analysis..works everytime, picks up footsteps, everything.

id say this is most probably a drunk or a domestic that just happened to be caught on that night , the cave is rite next to a path which leads to a pub , it is often inhabited by drunks sitting on the benches and have heard many sounds like this around the millpond area, these guys need to do some over night stays in Bush house , no thats scary!!!

i know this is serious stuff, but this voice is faintly reminiscent of Stanley Laurel crying. i can almost hear Ollie say 'well stanley, another fine mess you've got us into'.
If I had to guess at a possible scenario, I would say that if this were a paranormal entity or spirit, it did not notice outright the people being there but it sounds as if it was running around in the Wogan Caves, perhaps reliving some past tragedy or event that took place on the spot. I say that because of the way the voice starts out very distant, comes closer to the witnesses and then trails off again and disappears. This could be trace memory imprinted on the site or residual energy.
I isolated this voice and took a the last portion where the voice is loudest and appears to be closest to the recorder. Upon running audio analysis of it, I can say that the decibels run from -38 db to around -80 db at the end as the voice again begins to trail off and diminish. The very beginning of the voice, the Hertz reading begins at 67 Hz and continues on ending at about 9993 as the voice trails off into the distance again.
As a paranormal investigator, I believe that we cannot dismiss anything out of hand. Until something is disproved as being naturally occurring or existing in the environs, it should be considered and studied. I took the audio from this and did sound analysis on it and then isolated the "voice". I can tell you that the "voice" is in the negative decibels at all times, anywhere between -38 db at the beginning of loudest portion to around -80 db when the voice begins to trail off again.

Fake I'm afraid. I spent a night in the castle with a couple of mediums and very little happened. It's a creepy place, but all castles are. Good try though, well done.
The team spend many nights in supposedly haunted places and the majority of the time very little or nothing at all happens. But this happened. You have your opinion it is fake, and I accept that we cannot change everyones mind. That is part of this area of research.
But as I mentioned, we have been to places that have things happen and nothing happens the night we are there...does it mean it is not "haunted", we can't say that, it just didn't happen in front of us. I never got the feeling the castle was haunted while we were there, but the team do not believe that "if" this is paranormal it is an "actual" haunting but another area of the paranormal that may be possible. that it what is being looked at.
I'm sorry things did not happen the nights you were there. I am 50/50 on whether spirits exist or other kinds of hauntings but I do have the opinion that if they do you are very lucky if you get something intriguing because if it happened every minute of the day to everyone we would have our proof of the afterlife already.

Very eerie - makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. Not so sure it's the voice of a woman though, because when whoever it is takes a breath, the voice briefly sounds lower(at 50 and 53 seconds), like a mans. Can't make out what the voice is saying though - possibly 'leave me alone?' Of course, unless you witnessed it first hand who can say if it's real or not? If it was real, you've got to hand it to the team recording it for not running away screaming.
It could easily have been faked obviously, but perhaps it's not? Perhaps this group HAVE captured something paranormal? It'd be good to think they have. Sent shivers down my spine! The problem with anything paranormal is that is is very difficult to provide 'proof' without people shouting it down as being faked. Two hundred years ago people would have laughed at you if you'd described speaking to someone a thousand miles away with no wires only using a small thing we call a mobile phone!
I think Pembroke Castle is built upon the cave and they used the cave as some kind of a prison where they used to throw war prisoners and others just to forget about them, in other words just leave them to die. I am sure that yesterday I was reading about this cave and saw something about this, however I can't find that link again, I will search some more. This video really give me the creeps.
Unfortunately it's impossible to tell whether this is a hoax or not. It's so easy to fake and then swear that it's real. I'm not saying it's not real, but I would be more surprised if it is than if it isn't. Eerie footage though, thanks for sharing.
