@Redlion2277 no fellow, this is caused by the low pressure above the wing (read about "Bernoulli's law") and the high relative humidity. to explain it simple:

what happens when you use a co2-can e.g. for whipped cream? the can gets cold, because it loses pressure. physics... and what happen when air with high relative humidity cools down? it condenses. physics... so, due the high humidity and the low pressure above the wing, the air condenses above the wing and it builds a cloud in this area.

If Boeing continues to extend the 2nd level of the 747, then soon or later it will need as well additional gateways for em/disembarking pax.

But Boeing seems to not know how to do this. Comparing the 787 to the A380 is nonsense...except you have to wait for another xx Months to hand it over to the first customer...

Actually the A380 is not the new Queen it is an ugly whale. The front of the plane just doesn't look right. Probably didn't want to change it because of the amount of delays. As far as Boeing delaying the Dreamliner, well that is understandable given that it is being built using composite materials. Just look how quick they are making the 747-8

The A380 is also a new plane, 747-8 is based on a 40 years old frame so that explains why it is more easy to build. wait for the A380-900 to come out, it as better proportion an is really beautiful. Gears retracted the A380 really looks very good
