I was mad for a long time as my faith was shattered, but when I finally gave in to Gods grace. I was fully restored, and not just to my old self but to a brand new me.

God is always giving us chances. It doesn't matter to him whether we believe in him or not. He believes in us. He loves us. And if ever we truly ask him for his help he gives it without wondering if we'll remember who to give the glory to. @MisterJingleBerry no open ur mind and ur heart, he came in a human form, he had to die to wash our sin with his sacrifice. the romans did kill him in the cross but three days after that he came back to life and then he ascended to heaven because he is God. he did die, but he came back to life and right now he´s alive and he wants us to recognize that because he real.HOpe u understand god bless u.

@giojb16 Why would "god" want to be in a human form? He's got a holy form... Make that two. The Father is a Physical form too, seeing as you have to divide him in to the Father and the Holy Ghost. But seriously, why would he want to be in 3 forms, and not just one. And how is it possible that one part of God died? You said Jesus DID die. But if he's God, that's not possible...

@BabyBaby8794 Oh, on the contrary. I do believe in God. I just highly doubt that we're supposed to pray for miracles rather than look out for our own skins. I'd say that about 99% of people who wish for divine intervention end up not getting it. I do believe in miracles, but I know that it's better to say thanks for one than ask for one.

@BabyBaby8794 I would never pick on god. He's okay. I'm here wondering why people follow a religion based off of a dead guy who never in his days would think of leaving his own religion... Jesus was a Jew who was so involved in being one, he wanted to change it in order to save it. What Jesus was doing was trying to start the first Conservative movement, not a whole religion about himself. If you want an insane amount of truth, watch "Monty Python's, The Life of Brian".

@bkleds I don't pray, or even believe in Jesus' divinity, and yet, I'm living a happy, peaceful life without any natural disasters. What I would like to point out, is that i the 10 commandments (You know, the laws that you're supposed to follow), it says 2 things that you're destroying without even thinking.
a) It says that you shall have only one god. You have 3...
b) You shall not make an idol of god. If Jesus is in fact a god, you have an idol of him in every church...

@77713matt No, not misquote, but yes, it does mostly refer to anyone who has statues of Jesus. But as for the meaning of the trinity, I would love you to find me one explanation that all Christians can agree on. Really, that's almost impossible because there are so many meanings.
You know, if you really look in to it, you'll see that Christianity doesn't make much sense. I'm damn serious, by the way.

God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are ONE... they are not 3 seperate gods.
It's just 3 different aspects of the one God. God, his human form (known as his son etc) and his spirit - the side of himself he left for us when Jesus returned to heaven.
Just fyi, you don't seem to have actually read up on the faith you're so keen to criticise.

Also, if you look at some of the above posts, you'll notice a few people all saying something else about Jesus. Some saying he is god, some saying he's not, some saying he's part of god. Of course, you're all missing the obvious. Christ is a translation of the word "Messiah" or messenger. According to you, god delivers the message...

When a child misbehaves the natural reaction is to tell them off, discipline them and send them to their room. The better reaction is to come down to their level, humble yourself and gently tell them that what they did was wrong and not to do it again. God did the same thing, instead of sending plagues to punish the entire world He sent His Son to earth, Jesus had a humble beginning, a humble life leading to a humble death. God is always giving us chances. It doesn't matter to him whether we believe in him or not. He believes in us. He loves us. And if ever we truly ask him for his help he gives it without wondering if we'll remember who to give the glory to. I love this song because it reminds us that nothing we do in this life is really 'alone'

what really pisses me off is that so many christian have non-believing friends. i dont think god would want us to socialise with the enemy. non-christians are hellbound and so are the christians who ascociate with them.
also, as a creationist it surprises me that christians never attack science anymore. do christians suddenly believe in evolution, dinosaurs, gravity, a round earth etc? sorry for the rant but its hard to find any true christians these days.

@GarryW05 Did you ever pay attention to the Bible? First, since none of Jesus' friends were Christians why should any of us think we're better than HE? HE had the right to judge them and didn't. And he told many parables explaining how we're supposed to treat people who are 'Lost' That we should go out of our way to love them. not reject them with a false superiority thinking that WE'RE going to heaven and they aren't. read Matthew 25:40-45. that should clear it up for you

@GarryW05 Excuse me, but I have quite a few non-Christian friends, and that gives me an opportunity to share the gospel with them. If you don't associate with non-believers, how are you supposed to carry out the Great Commission? And, you have no right to condemn to hell any Christians who associate with nonbelievers. I don't condone or participate in their actions.
Also, as a creationist and a biologist, I don't believe in evolution but I believe in dinosaurs and that the earth is round.

I'm at a time in my life where I need Jesus to take the wheel. I have two babies, very little money and struggling to find a place to live to get out of a toxic relationship. This song gives me hope that God will give me once more chance at a happy life for me and my precious angels.
