I like people who recognize true style even tho OMG it is actually after 1972. Some people are alseep. I have a 74 too, and the 2nd Gen Monte Carlo is the sweetest of them all. I like the older ones, but this is it for me.
I have a 74 with a 454 big block and 79,000 original miles, my college car! I need to get rid of the emissions crap and put some sound under it, competition headers and a good set of flow masters should make it rumble. But emissions stuff chokes it to death and right now it is kinda gutless.

Hot car, man. My dad had a '74 black landau with the 400 cu. in. engine and swivel buckets. Man I miss that car...they are beautiful.

Used to have one myself.74 Monte witha 35o small block 4 barrel.When you hit the gas it didn't smoke but it took off like a bat outta hell.
