  • SHUT UP AND JUST FRY IT,I'M HUNGRY. D;

  • I watched the program from where this recipe came from, and I believe he suggested that we not use paper towels to dry the chicken. Sure, we'll get rid of the fat, but we'll also get rid of the flavor and crispiness and crunchiness (not Good Eats, is it?).

  • It looks overcooked, an internal temp of 170F is fine for chicken. I cook 10 min per side and it comes out perfect.

  • @moviegeek65

By "perfect", you also mean crispy, right?

  • packaging can only market a product so much..

  • Evidently this guy has a different definition of "perfect" than I do. What i see here is badly overcooked chicken.

  • If i were to make this id do it 2 mins less on each side so it don't burn

  • no finished fried chicken shots, problly didn't look good

  • I love chicken, I'm going to soak it in butter milk from now on.. great tip. thanks.;)

  • love chicken

  • HE BURNED THE CHICKEN!!!!!...smh

  • I met Alton Brown and he couldn't have been more friendly. He tolk his time talking to every person that came up too him. He was very personable and seam like he would talk too you all day like a old Friend. As for his recipes, I haven't found a bad one yet. I learned a lot from his shows and from The American Test Kitchens shows.

  • @CraigKramer

I don't know what you did, but I just made this and it came out perfect. Sounds like maybe you didn't put enough oil in the pan or it got too hot. Did you use a cast iron skillet? I would NEVER make fried chicken in anything other than cast iron. That's just asking for trouble.

  • I hate this stupid twit.

  • @KellyGreen5555

Alton Brown is one of the most informative host on Food Network TV, or as for that, television in general. You probably live in the projects somewhere sucking off the government. Your mom is probably felony ridden meth infested piece of trash.

  • @blueangels412? How did you know? Damn your sparkling wordplay!

  • @blueangels412

    I loled

  • @blueangels412 mean but true

  • @blueangels412 bravo well said :)

  • The chicken he made just didnt look good..

  • Love your channel! You look amazing! What you do is really fantastic! Let's stay in touch. Check me out sometimes too!

  • What a smug son of a bitch...

  • @Aida82c I really hate this guy. He is a clown. I never learn anything watching him.

  • Soooooo amazing! I made this the other day and it was just heavenly!

  • If I was there I would. I'd take some... red wine... 'bout a quarter-cup, and then... a wooden spoon... and I'd deglaze the fuck out of that pan. isn't that hot, guys? Oh, yeah. Don't you wanna just... Don't you wanna just get in there and...Mmmh!

  • I burned everything and smoked up my entire kitchen trying this.

    smh...

  • @CraigKramer You probably did it wrong.

  • The best fried chicken recipe I've ever had. Very crispy outside, moist inside. Spiced just right with this blend. Perfection !

  • Alton is the master genius of cooking theory chef..idk i just made that up put he really is..he doesnt just teach me how to cook..but things i never knew about cooking food

  • i love this showw!! everyone come visit my website for my recipes and my food blog(: diaryofayoungchef.webs.com

  • He's the man I tell you.

  • I Think it was soggy skin? I didn't drian or pat the skin dry after I did the Buttermilk soak. When I was friing it the batter wuld fall off. Buut other than that it was good. I'm not really a cook so when I end up doing a new thing it seems to always come out wrong. But, that's part of the funn of cooking.

  • I need help on doing my Chicken legs! I tried it this way and it came out wrong! This is my first time cooking so that may be why? Thanks.

  • @zekehooper -- What was the problem? Overcooked (burned)? Undercooked (raw or almost raw)? Soggy skin? Bad tasting?

  • @zekehooper since I can't do it the way he does, I fry the pieces separately. Going with the thighs then the legs and then the breast next and the wings lastly (since they cook really fast).

  • $15? you can get oil screens at the dollar store

  • @louiearmstrong Alton is an idiot.

  • coool
