I remember as a child my grandparents tv didn't have a remote control. We had to walk to to the tv and push buttons/turn knobs on the tv. With this tv I see we have come full circle. Point is... who wants to walk up to a tv and put hands all over it? Still needs a remote to be usefull. Make it wireless and transfer video wireless then you have something usefull.

The tablet was docked for a reason. A hell of a lot of wires coming out of that 65" TV - I mean tablet. And the camera was very careful NOT to show that actual tablet again, which leads me to believe that somebody was controlling the the 65" from the smaller "docked" tablet.

In any case, nice try, but bad idea anyway because we have too many lazy couch potatoes. The remote control was invented so that people don't HAVE to get up and touch their TVs. So it would never catch on.

Very cool and I hope to see DLNA features on it. This would be sick for media. Just make sure to update the thing. The biggest issue with Android is the fact that most companies arent bothering to update to the later versions. I guess Samsung, motorolla, and Dell are far too busy to provide things like security fixes. Please dont be one of those people, then call your device secure.

this shit is a gimmick, anyone with a smartphone and hdmi out can pretty much do all the important stuff with their phone. Using your phone as a controller you can do presentations, watch movies and play games right from the couch. Plus most of us already have this but never use it, what makes you think someone will pay a bunch of money for a touch screen tv then buy a tablet with a dock to use it on the tv. Lmao...

This really isn't much different from any other interactive whiteboard (like a SmartBoard). It's just hooked up to an Android tablet, which (IMO) isn't as functional as a computer hooked up to this same TV.
