  • Fantastic! Well done! It might have been funny to put all the writing in mirror image...so you can look in a mirror and see how many emails you have.

  • haha a nerd couple. cool ! I wish I find one nerd grl 4 me

  • great idea!!!

  • its washable but u just hav to take off the bateri

  • Anndd can you do the same with wifi?

  • Great job! How do you clean it?

  • Wow, that's a wild idea. Thanks for sharing it.

  • Well... gay people can have girlfriends or wives.. they can be to timid to come out of the closet..

But he's not gay.. so it shouldn't matter anyway.

  • walk with that shirt into a club and start emailing and deleting emails :D strobe man! ...

  • haha, now that is a good idea!

  • If you gave us your email we can help you testing your tshirt spamming your mail box :D

  • hmm now everyphone got email i am just saying

  • y were nerds born

  • to be smarter than you.

  • this is kick ass, I had a similar idea once

  • lol this dude is a straight up NERD

  • It will be cool to see people wearing these one day. I am curios of how to wash it I know there are a few other types of electronic shirts but i've never been told how they get washed. LOL

  • Idea for a name: Email Alert Shirt!

I'll take my share of royalties.

    hahaa.. just kidding.

    I like money though.

    Feel free to donate.

  • his head looks like his brain is too big for his head, like god didn't know he will be so genius.

    I'm just sayin'..

  • i want this

  • That would be really useful to a manager on site or in the office. It would let him/her know how many emails they have without wasting the time to check. If you can make this more aesthetically pleasing, you might have a future with this and similar devices. A baseball cap or necklace with a digital display perhaps...

  • that is sooooooo cool but i wouldnt dare wear it in public!!!

  • hey dude you got an email

  • how do you wash it?

  • @g33k245 *says in an epic voice* HE DOESNT, haha

  • @g33k245 all the lilypad stuff is washable.

  • Wow, really cool, No offense, but I could see geeks/nerds everywhere with these shirts. Would there be a way to make like an l.e.d., like one of those lottery signs that tells you how much the lotto is upto, but smaller. So it could tell you the exact number of emails?

  • @Zbreter yeah but they wouldnt have any emails

  • Really cool.

  • Cool idea, but not on a shirt... it's better be on a box, picture or something...

  • this is a good idea, but what if it started to rain?, woudn't it shortcut?

  • @silverblade604 short-circut

  • i have 1337 unread emails :p

  • Does it blend?

  • Cool idea. If I Had a Shirt That Accompanied An iPad, I Would Just Strap It To My Chest.

  • Genius shirt! That would be so freakin' cool to have! I love the creativity of the human mind!!! XD

    I like this vid!

  • you are a genius im liking this wow

  • this is really cool

  • how you wash it

  • I'm shocked anyone could possibly find a way to make fun of this. I'm equally surprised to see people posting negative comments on YouTube.

  • very neat, but too much time on your hands dude...

  • That's cool, but how do you clean it?

  • Very cool. People who don't check their email often would get use out of this :)

  • you put fabreeze on it

  • wat if water gets on it will it shock u

  • @brnrd21 Thats a very idiot thing to say. It's not going to shock him if there are no power cords touching his body, which there aren't, and It's highly unlikely to get shocked by something with a battery.

  • hmmm another well thought-out, yet essentially useless idea!.... "GREAT now i can get emails on my phone, my ipod, my laptop, my computer and....MY SHIRT! just what i always wanted!"

  • MAD COOL!

  • So..how do you wash it?

  • What about when you wash it?

  • Wait till you throw it in the wash.

  • cool

  • The overall item is great although have u ever thot about maybe putting it on something different and more hand held sort of like something that looks like an ipod....

  • Neat, too bad there are a lot of intolerant people commenting here. I bet they're useless sloths who never built a thing by themselves, or just stupid Internet trolls.

  • If you want to bag on people go bag on Fred or some shit, he invented this and it's a damn cool thing.

  • lol nice... whats the range on that thing?

  • i would date him

  • i like the idea. But happens when you have a stain and need to wash the shirt???

  • @Kcrefa I don't think you are right, i would love a shirt that could view my mails or sms's, just for the fun and nerdy of it :)

  • Nice, it's i can say, NIIIIIIIIICEEEE

  • make a cool looking design and sell the idea.

  • Sell this thing on ThinkGeek or something!

  • Great idea, it doesnt have any functional uses, as noone is going to wear that shirt, and if they did they wouldnt pay for the wireless internet needed to leave the house while wearing it, but neat concept.

  • It may look funny butt his has alot of potential.

  • Great video, fantastic idea. Trim down the size and it could a really cool component to a watch or something similar!

  • u look like richard from beauty and the geek

  • cool idea!

I'm not convinced that this particular t-shirt is very helpful or even wearable in public, but thats not really the point here. The point is that if you are able to create something like that, then you sure are able to do lots of cool stuff!

    gratz.

  • What in the fuck... , ARE YOU???!!

  • @xxTheBeyondWithin Someone smarter then you maybe?

  • @LoveFromBelgium

    I doubt it...Seriously...

  • It's nerdy, but cool ;D

  • coooooooooooooool

  • waste

  • @ZER0EVO shit's real you retard

    stay in school

  • very very cool idea :D

One question: Does it only work when you are near you Computer or could you go shopping for example and it would work too? Because that would be REALLY cool

  • @weylin6 Who cares dude. Teeth are teeth. Get over it.

  • Lame in every way.

  • Hey i have that shirt. But mine shows how many chics i bagged.

  • nerdy dude

  • that would be cool if you could use it for facebook... then you would be abil to sell it, nice idea thou.

  • if you got 3 emils what happen? will its stiy on 2 or light on 1 and 2?

  • @mmmmmmddddddd it's binary so it would light up 1 and 2 since 1+2=3. 7 would be 4+2+1, and so on and so forth

  • @mmmmmmddddddd

In decimal notation it goes like

    16,8,4,2,1

which is in 2^n (binary) notation

    2^4, 2^3, 2^2, 2^1, 2^0

    example:

    10110 (binary expression)

    = 1*(2^4) + 0*(2^3) + 1*(2^2) + 1*(2^1) + 0*(2^0)

= 16+0+4+2+0 (change to decimal notation)

    = 22

  • @Fensterplaetzchen

    you are used to

    10000,1000,100,10,1

which is in 10^n (decimal) notation

    10^4, 10^3, 10^2, 10^1, 10^0

    example:

    30150 (decimal expression)

    = 3*(10^4) + 0*(10^3) + 1*(10^2) + 5*(10^1) + 0*(10^0)

= 30000+0+100+50+0 ("change" to decimal notation)

    = 30150

  • Looks sweet man. How do you wash it again? LMAO

  • not the prettiest electro shirt ive seen, but it works.

i think it would work better as a hat.

  • ...he looks like G-man with glasses

  • This. is. An ok idea...........

  • some ideas are good, some ideas are bad, some are groundbreaking...

    this is none...

    ITS FUCKING REVOLUTIONARY!

  • unwashablleeee

spot clean and dryclean i guess.... would suck to spill my soda on it

its awesome for the dry conditions anyways

  • That is very cool

  • nice....can u wash the shirt.??...I guess not....not interested.

  • @cabedoya

    haha, good point ^^

  • This can be fake but seems cool.

will the shirt malfunction and explode if you get spam?

  • i am duh only one, keep goin with it, i explain after u moron.

  • @onceigoblack Go back to school and go learn proper grammar before you insult someone.

  • 1:15 LMFAO!

  • That's hilarious!

  • I think u have tooooo much time

  • revolution in t-shirt industry =))))

    great =)

  • Neat idea, but it's a step in the wrong direction if you ever plan on getting laid

  • @weylin6 He is married....so i don't think that's his problem.

  • @weylin6 He has a wife. Before being a lame think twice lol. fail

  • this guy is extremely smart your an idiot to make fun of him or call him lame this guy is the guy that makes our lives more easier because he's not a lazy bum like you and your the one that fails i would rather have this guys company over you "any day"

  • you should mass market these shirts everyone would buy them and you could become a millionaire

  • @weylin6 He has a wife so he gets laid

  • @weylin6 OMG LOL! so mean but LOL!

  • @weylin6 as if girl geeks don't fuck

  • @weylin6 agreed

  • @weylin6 yea and in a couple of years hes gonna sell an idea like this for millions and gonna find some kind of model who'll be attrackted by his money. and we'll get to sit here and watch his videos while hes driving a limousine around vegas.

  • @weylin6 he has a wife...yeah true for the consumer though.

  • @weylin6 The 6th and 7th words he uses in the video are "my" and "wife".

  • @SaBLeSoLDi3R "It's a step in the wrong direction if you ever plan on getting laid" doesn't have to mean only the uploader of the video, but anyone watching this and thinking about sewing a bulky stupid ass circuit board to their shirt.

It's a neat idea, but they should find a way to make it a little less noticeable, maybe a way to detach the circuitry to make it possible to wash.

  • @weylin6 at the very beginning he says him and his wife created this. I don't think he's getting laid anyway LOL

  • @weylin6 actually, the majority of this tech is actually hidden most of the time, this was probably just a unfinished product, the finished product will probably just look like a regular t shirt with the graphics and leds (and plus the majority of people doing this are female)

  • @weylin6 he has a wife...

  • @weylin6 Notice how he said "A shirt me and my wife made" ...

  • dude that shirt is sweet but i am not that important to have that many unread emails...lol do not go out in the rain dude!!!

  • Nerd xD

  • @MrGwenderon otario nerd es tu olha pa ti 1 antes de criticares os otros aposto que es um burro retardado

  • `this is crazy haha

i hope it would be water proof cause i like to wash my shirts and what not

  • Coupla thoughts.

First, if you switched the power source to one of those thin, flat watch batteries, the package would be less bulky.

Second, how about replacing the individual LEDs with one of those LCD number screens (same as a digital watch)? Then you could show the actual number of emails in decimal, without having to add the numbers in your head. I believe the logic going to the LCD is the same.

    Good luck!

  • I'd wear it. Great idea.Get it patented then cash in b4 someone else does.

  • It's cool but who the @%^$%#$ would actually wear it?

  • Comment removed

  • omfg.... go play sum runescape
