Perhaps Uyghur is an older name than O'zbek, but this fact alone makes a lame argument to claim Uzbeks as Uyghurs.
I agree, Uzbek, is a fairly recent name of our nation. But let us not forget the fact that our nation was much more famous as Turks.
The name "East Turkistan" itself proves that there is also a "Turkistan". Turkistan is a land of Turks.
