As a reporter with a first-hand look at that game, it's the most amazing performance I've ever seen. And the best part is that Atkinson won ALL THREE Elite-8 games at the buzzer. The Barton story is EASILY movie material. They set an NCAA record by going 10-0 in OT games. Atkinson is a wonderful young man. Very religious. He told me before each game he recited scripture and asked God to guide him on the court. After his three-day tour de force, he made a believer out of the harshest cynic!
