People do remakes not just americans. And not only british films are remade. Village of the damned needed a remake because such a great story had to be told to the modern audiences. Most people don't know about the original one. Films don't need a spesific country to be shown in, they should be universal.

i think it comes on REALLY early tomorrow. if you have suddenlink cable and a DVR, you can look it up fast tonight and set a recording so you can watch it.

People do remakes not just americans. And not only british films are remade. Village of the damned needed a remake because such a great story had to be told to the modern audiences. Most people don't know about the original one. Films don't need a spesific country to be shown in, they should be universal.
And even if the remake is bad, at least it gets people interested in seeing the original...so nobody loses.
