  • This was on the copy of Gremlins 2 I got for Christmas in 1992.

  • I love this logo! It was on my VHS tape called Big Bag Explore With Us!

  • @hehehehe3124 I was saying that will be nice if they where still using that logo this very day would be nice instead of seeing the new Warner home video logo.

  • I thought of Batman when I watched this

  • I saw this before Batman Forever started.

  • I wish this particular logo was still around

  • @firestarter199515 I know that will be awesome! Putting in a Buray of DVD seeing that logo pop up all the time....

  • @sonicbigfan1 I'd love that, I would honestly have more films from WB just because of that logo :)

  • ALSO ON THE 1986 VHS OF ELMER FUDD'S COMEDY CAPERS!

  • ALSO ON DAFFY DUCK'S MADCAP MANIA 1988 VHS!

  • this is also from space jam.

  • @IsmaelandLugi21 Nope, Space Jam has the 1997 Warner Home Video logo.

  • This subvariation ran from 1992 to 1996 because of the byline "A Time Warner Entertainment Company."

  • I Think It Must Be From The Opening Of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory In The Late 1980's.

  • Lovely days with Rover Dangerfield!

  • Is it just me or is this kinda epic? :]

  • @decadesmusic I think it's because the music is the exact same one used in the first warner bros. movie intro. You know when the logo looked something like this:

  • This was on my Pee-Wee's Big Adventure tape and my Gymboree tape. Cool logo brings back memories

  • This used to scare the crap out of me

  • ? oh.

  • Seeing this Opening on VHS is the best, I have a bootleg VHS copy of The Matrix that starts with this Opening and goes right to the Movie, no previews or anything.

This Opening is vaguely Satanic, I'm guessing it was made on an old Amiga in like two hours by a guy named Bob somewhere in a WB backlot

  • @SuperGoldfish1999 there is nothing wrong with this logo it's my favorite.

  • Sorry, I had to mark some inappropriate comments as a spam.

  • Memories of Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Summer Vacation are now flowing through my mind.

  • I have this logo on my "Witches" VHS and "The NeverEnding story" to.

  • The Neverending Story Betamax tape had this intro...

  • I think I remember seeing this on a Wee Sing video. (We used to watch Wee Sing back in Preschool). Can anyone tell me if it is on a Wee Sing video?

  • Loved this logo as a kid! When I saw this come on, I knew I was in for a great movie or a great batch of Looney Tunes cartoons. Thanks for this post!

  • i have this on it take's two and willy wonka and the chocolate factory.

  • Best Logo Ever!

  • I have that logo on my old Free Willy VHS tape.

  • never scared me when i was little.

  • it doesnt scare me at all either.

  • I got this on the Dennis the Menace VHS.

  • I HATED that intro. It's scared me when I was a kid. In fact it creeps me out today, when I go to see the old movies I enjoyed.

Whenever I see that warning sign before the intro starts, I immediately put my finger on the fast-foreword button to be ready, and skip it.

  • that music would always scare me and give me nightmares for some kooky reason but now when I watch it it just creeps me out freakishly

  • I saw this on a Time/Life History of Rock and Roll series of tapes.

  • I don't rent many movies, but I think the only place I've ever seen this ever is on a VHS of The Song Remains the Same that I used to have. That could be my memory going wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is the logo that was used.

  • Was this logo seen on the original VHS release of Sesame Street presents Follow That Bird?

  • @carlitosbug dunno.

  • I have this on Batman Mask of The Phantasm adn Thumbelina (correct spelling?), my Innerspace and 1989 Batman tapes have the Warner Communications version, and my Batman Returns tape has the still version of the Time Warner version.

  • this was also seen on it takes two. it sacred

every time the logo came on

  • All DVDs distributed by Warner Bros. only use the current Warner Home Video logo.

  • I remember this from something, i just can't put my mind on it.

  • I have this on my 1995 VHS of "The Swan Princess"

  • Eh, you're wrong.

  • quit cursing

  • Comment removed

  • ok. but i never say it.

  • I love this! I have it on a 1988 VHS copy of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! THE GREATEST LOGO OF ALL-TIME!!!

  • One of the greatest logos of all time.

  • Where did you find this?!

  • all right ASSHOLE; you don't know that time warner came in 1990

  • I think the WB shield looks like Daffy Duck's feet!

  • so a time warner company replaced a warner communications company in 1990

  • Brings back old memories.

  • this is from 1985-1997!

  • There was one variation where the byline read "A Subsairy of Warner Bros. A Warner Comunications Company". That byline lasted from 1986-1990.

  • another variation where no byline is placed (first months of this logo)

  • It was used outside USA.

  • This was also on the beginning of Stephen Kings IT

  • This is on the 1991 print of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

  • Also on Richie Rich

  • The current Warner Home Video logo is a major disappointment in comparison to the suspenseful ring of the 1986-96 version. I'm even thinking of writing Warner Bros. a letter and requesting this one be revived. This version actually plays the fanfare heard before many of Warner's films from the '30's and '40's, so it's also kind of authentic at heart. I sorely miss this WHV format.

  • u could see my brain going like: oh my god were gonna die

  • that one scared me to death!!!

  • what you get this!!!

  • Lol this logo scared the crap out of me when I was little :P Now I figured it has to do with the bad CGI design, its horrible! :p

  • and the music sounded so fucking loud back then! :p

  • BOOOOOOM! BadadAAAAAAAA!

Badada da da da da da da da da

    *while out of tune*

    BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! BAAAABAAAAADAAAAA!

    I couldn't agree more. lol

  • Great Logo! I Love It! It's Retro!

  • The Warner Home Video Logo With The TWEC Byline Was Seen On The 1995-1996 Release Of The Olsen Twins' First Movie, It Takes Two.
