Loved the way you edited this parody trailer. Made it really seem like the two main buddies had a very special, close relationship. Love the part at :59-1:00 where she says, "Maybe you found someone you like better" as it shows a clip of the two guys! (Cute, fun parody trailer!)
"Noir Nation" on Facebook, Youtube, kickstarter . com, and Twitter. Looking for submissions of stories, graphic novels, and for the website, short noir films.
What a cool video.Nice homage to James Cagney also.He is my favorite movie gangster along with Robert DeNiro.Too bad they don´t make them like that anymore.
Jeremy Renner must have studied Cagney for his role in “The Town.” Take a look at the last few minutes in this compilation. Renner is Cagney, especially in the final moments of “The Town” before he is gunned down. I am enthralled and going to be watching “Public Enemy” and “White Heat,” which I haven’t seen in years.
The best drama movie from Johny deep; but the ending was somewhat very wierd... as in mind blowing - literarly. you'll see what I mean. i found it for free on autoplox (.) c 0 m .
Is this movie posted on YouTube in it's entirety. This movie is old enough for one to avoid a copyright deletion. When ever I type in "Public Enemy" in the search-box all that comes up are videos about that god-awful rap group.
Very well done. I like PE, and I think this trailer is not at all disrespectful of the film. I think there are a lot homoerotic overtones in 1930s gangster films -- in 'Little Caesar' even more than in PE.
Good choice to use "Hallelujah" over the shootout. Beautiful.

JEFF BUCKLEY? HES DEAD.. whats up with that ? Whats that song have to do with this classic film? .. Good mercy man
MazennBb 2 years ago
Well, James Cagney's dead too. It doesn't make him less relevant.
I thought Buckley's Hallelujah was an appropriate choice for my tonal attempt.

My favorite film that was made during the Depression. A good pre-code film.

This movie is IT! I love James Cagney! He was perfect! He always told everybody what's what!

With this kind of twist on Public Enemy you should be working for Rupert Murdoch and Fox News!

Thats your favorite scene and you don't know what movie its from? Its from White Heat, not Public Enemy.

Thanks! Obviously, I agree with you about the 1930s gangster films. So much testosterone leads to an oft humorous subtext.
Westerns too - you should check out Red River!

Clearly, you're a jerk who has no respect for the classics.
KristyonMeth sounds like a more appropriate nic for you.

KristyOnYT 4 years ago
whose the public enemy in this movie?
ZacKrush01 3 years ago
The problem is you made a joke of one of the greatest films ever made with a true cinematic icon.
That's the problem.
