I used to always like his Powers of Ten era music the most, but now I'm leaning towards his 1995-1997 years with Jonas, they just go so well together. Also people should never forget about Jeff Sipe! I don't think Shawn Lane and Jonas Hellborg would go on tour with an average drummer, and well, just listen to him!

Shawn Is on fire i love the tone of his guitar the low action and light strings give a very nice tone Shawn is the only guy who could tempt me to go back to 9's and to buy his guitar.

My God. I could swear he's not picking at the beginning. And the vibrato sounds beautiful but it's unreal.. Does anyone know if he's using an Ebow, or if he's just picking softly and cleverly using the Whammy bar?

He never used a Ebow. He even rarely used hammerons and pulloffs. More than 90% you hear is picked. His signal is compressed quite a lot.
