The only couple I am aware of with a big age difference who have only recently gotten engaged after 8 years is Harrison and Calista and they are 22 years apart. Even if they had split up beforehand or by now, she would not have been able to get a hold of his money or assets cause they had not been legally married. However, I think people have to be living together a number of years before drawing up a marriage type agreement. Regardless, they are happy and devoted to each other.
Many people have a misconception that all younger women marry older men for money. Some actually do but then you have celebrity couples with age differences who have been together for years. I highly doubt that these marriages would have lasted if the women was only after his fame and fortune. I am not sure what the details are or if any of these couples consider prenups and then i think most do. A marriage will not work out if it is based on money alone.
