Transgendered or Transsexual is there much a difference? Have you ever felt like you would be considered a freak by those around you?

@fishpasteking "Transgender" is an umbrella term identifying people of the transgender community. Someone who is Transsexual plans on getting or has received Gender Reassignment Surgery or Hormonal replacement therapy.

Yes, I have considered that people may think of me as "Freak". My "transgenderism" Is only one small part of me, people who call me friend, see all of me, not just one small part of my physical characteristic. At the end of the day, Thats what matters most:)

That was great! It's so nice to hear your parents weren't to bad about it especialy! It seems like you did a great job and manged to keep most of your friends on the way to. If I may ask, how long was your timeline between making the decision and going fulltime?

it was about 2 yrs. I had just had my hair cut short for the last time when I posted my bulletins. I really wanted my hair to gorw have my name change and be on hrt for a few months before I went full time.
