i found a solution for mine

the easy cap i ordered came with a cd and it said on the front 'compatible with wondows 7' and when it didnt work i got confused

so i opened up the cd files and found a folder named 'win7_64bit', and then when you search through that there will be a 'setup' installer and if you isntall that it should work

hopefully you have a cd!
