The cops are placed in concert crowds to deter any violence but instead they arrest the lead singer of the band. Although I do feel sorry for the cops as well, they were probably just following orders, and the first cop didn't look like he wanted to be doing it, but really WTF???

Stupid cops don't even know the law. Sub section 6 of section 203 of the Police Act (1990) states:

(6) Without limiting subsection (5), a person is not guilty of an offence under subsection (1) if the person wore or was in possession of the police uniform for the purposes of a public entertainment.

... yes, but subsection (5) says that he needs the approval of the Commissioner of Police before doing so. That's what 'without limiting' means. He can do it for public entertainment, as long as he has approval, or as 203(5)(c) says, a 'reasonable excuse'.
