  • why didn't you use content- aware instead of croping ? :)

  • well just to be a bit of a dick :) my new phone does it automatically and also in 3D, so noo need for this (for me btw) but nice tutorials overall

  • Hey,

I followed everything you did, and I used 4 photos, but when I Auto-Align it, it places two of the photos next to each other, with another 2 underneath one of the photos...

I've tried a few times and watched the video closely several times...

    Whats wrong? :s

  • thanks a lot!

  • I was wondering how to do the first step in your how to video. How do you have all of the photos in a single document but different layers?

  • There a bunch of videos at the side fom IceFlow that range from 100,000 to 500,000 views and then there the Breast Enlargement video with 5,000,000 LOL!

  • u r awesome mn! i jus open ma photoshop and follow your steps thnx fr this tutorial......

  • best tutorials ever!

  • thank you very much

  • what equpment do I need to create 360x360 panoramics(panoramic images for both up and down)?

  • Hello.

I have Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended. If you click on File then Automate then Photomerge, will it work as well?

    Thanks

  • @idmt23 yes

  • @idmt23 Yes!

  • The Adobe CS4 Classroom in a Book (lesson 10) crops out the sides and bottom but not the top. Instead, for the sky, use the eye dropper to pick dark blue as the foreground and light blue as the background. Then, create a new layer (sky) and use the rectangular marquee to select all of the transparent areas in the top of the image. Pick the gradient tool with the first option selected. Drag a line from the top to the bottom of the rectangle. Finally, use the auto-blend feature and voila!

  • Instead of cropping, you could use the content-aware and fill in the transparent area. It takes some tweaking to get it right, but you won't lose any photo area.

  • @electricskillet he uses cs4 on which that option is not available yet.

  • well this is not a panorama. this is jus connectin 3 pictures together. can you make it so that you can view an image 360 by takin like 5 pics in a circle and puttin it together

  • @lordofkronos

Go for it. But if you have subjects in the photograph that are REALLY close to you (within 3-5 feet), they'll appear distorted later.

  • @123IOWNALL321 wat r u talkin about u son of a bitch

  • @lordofkronos

Uhh what I'm saying is, your images will end up looking like this: tinyurl . com / panoexample

See how that STRAIGHT deck bannister appears completely curved? That's because I was too close when I made that panorama.

  • @123IOWNALL321 how many pictures did you connect to make that panorama

  • @lordofkronos

    Three.

  • @123IOWNALL321 do it again, this time with like 6 pictures so its massive

  • @lordofkronos

Wtf...why? It'll just look wicked distorted.

  • @123IOWNALL321 then u suck

  • which version useed by you?

  • man you are just simply the best. your tutorials are short, well organized, and interesting

  • Just to make this a little bit more updated, instead of cropping the top part, it is also possible to use the Content-Aware fill for those areas.

  • that was wow we all thank you man keep going ;)

  • simple and awesome, 10/10 :)

  • How do you put so many layers in the same document?

  • @idiotaproductions File>Scripts>Load files into stack

  • @rotvarotva zzz

  • very good!

  • Didn't know about this tool

  • Photoshop = Magic :)

  • photoshop is the tool of the gods.

  • Omg, thats amazing !

    Really works :D

  • how did you put them in layers?

  • Hej I was wondering if it wouldn't be easier to just use: file-->automate-->photomerge.

It does everything in one easy way

    good luck

  • Wow... that was soo cool. Easiest tut i've seen so far.

  • how did you get them all in 1 layer i added 4 pictures and it just makes a new tab for each of them

  • open them as u said in separate tabs and then use Cnrtl+A (Command+A) - selecting the whole picture in each tab and paste them individually into your chosen compositing file. They will automatically be pasted in seperate layers

  • Wow,,, the hours I've lost trying to make panoramas when it was all there....

  • thanks

  • thank you! made it real easy!

  • fantastic thanks

  • can flare be removed with photoshop?

  • omg..where is the 'beginner' section =(

  • you are best..good tutorial.Keep it up.

  • @frezo360

If you have After Effects you can bring all the photos into a composition at 1 frame per image.

You render the composition out to a quicktime movie.

Back in Photoshop you are able to Import the movie as a single document with each frame as its own layer.

Its a couple of steps but if you have AE it should only take a minute or two

  • Hey ! If anyone knows does it create like a circular panorama if you choose the 'Spherical' from Auto-Align Layers @ 1:25

    I was thinking of creating a panorama picture, except it would be like a circular. Say fish eye but reversed, so it goes around the back (;

If anyone knows the settings, please PM me ;)

  • you could also do what i do for panoramic photos just go File>Automate> Photomerge. I think it is easier than doing it your way, then again i could be noob....

  • Hello.

Howard, could you please show or tell us what the fastest way is to import several files as different layers into the same document?

I only found one way to import new layers and it is only one at a time, which is pretty time-consuming if you're using 5-8 photos.

    Thank you.

  • You can take File>Automate>Photomerge and then browse after the pictures and check the Geometric Distortion box. And then OK

  • @Greuceanu33 open evry photo in ps and select evry photo by holding ctrl (the tab on the top where the name of the file is)

  • @Greuceanu33 1 year ago no answert??? pleas ei need same help! :)

  • @Greuceanu33 Open Bridge select your files in the folder go to Tools --> Photoshop --> Photomerge

I think that's the easiest way.

  • Thanks!!! gonna try this soon :)

  • thank you, this is very useful

  • wohooo! thanks man! :D 100% working..

the result blew my mind!! ^___^

    thanks again!

  • thanks for all the help, i m in mexico and i think is usefull

  • i got problem here... my photoshop cs2 wen i open i cannot use anyphoto

  • You can use photomerge for this. It's quicker.

  • How do I get many photos in one document? Im beginner so I don't know. Thanks.

  • open, copy, new layer, paste.

    :)

  • Can't still figure out how to do that cause I can't use copy and paste options. Don't know why.

  • if you have a mac its command c and command v,

because sometimes, the "via cut" and "via paste". act a little strange.

  • super cool

  • tHANKS FOR TUTORIal

  • very nice tutorial..............

  • Thanks--very helpful!

  • How do you open multiple photos in different layers? Here it opens all in 1 layer named backround.

  • you don't have to...just go to file>automate>photomerge>select the folder or the files you want to merge and you're done. This guy did it the long way.

  • AutoStitch does an insane job with creating panoramas. Just google AutoStitch and you'll find it. The only time I use Ps for panos now is if I need the image in a format other than jpeg.

  • me gustaria que mis cursos en la universidad fuera asi como esta tutorial!!!!!

  • How did He open 3 Pictures in ONE document HELP PLEASE!!

  • all you need to do is open all 3 pics. and drag them into that document. and if they have more than one layer make sure you have all the layers selected!

  • in what document???

  • you just make a blank document or open one of the pictures and drag them all into it

  • what software are you using to make these tutorials, please?! :)

    thanks

  • he's using Adobe Photoshop CS4...

    the title says it...

  • hes askin whats the program MAKING the videos.. Its probably ScreenFlow

  • There's a much faster and more efficient method using CS4:

simply open the "file" (or edit, i cant exactly remember, i'm on my work pc) and near the bottom there should be a "Photomerge" option. Simply click that, and a window similar to yours at 1:24 will appear. then use the window to select the photos you require, and click ok.

it will align and blend the layers, leaving only the cropping to be done. saves time for big panoramas :D

  • how do i get them all in one document like lll on top of echt other?

  • I like to open them all into separate documents then use the move tool to drop them into the same document. I'm sure someone knows a quicker way but thats just me.... use Ctrl+click or Apple+click to select them all when opening a document (or drag a selection on them in your OS's window)

  • can i use this to display before and after modified images, or is there a easier way to do it.

  • Awesome videos, as mentioned before most photoshop videos are very annoying to watch but yours are great :)

  • oh nvms just listened again and heard it say cs3 =) stupid me.

  • whoa that is an amazing feature, does it come on cs3 extended?

  • what kind of screen recorder and video editor do you use? Great tutorials!

  • thanks a lot i really learn a lot from you..

  • I have been watching your tutorials for some time and love them. I hate watching tutorial videos of Photoshop but your are really organized and really well done, Things I like about your videos:

    -High Quality

    -Professional Voice(no background sound)

    -You are fully organized

-Simply done so it is very easy for other to do it.

    Thankyou for your videos!

  • Thank you very much. Glad you like my videos! =)

  • very nice tutorial..............

  • Wow Bigger thx.

  • Nice tutorial! There's also a free program called Autostitch for creating panoramas if you can't afford Photoshop :)

  • fuck i am looking foward to getting photoshop cs4. OMG my imac pro comes next week and i have been watching these videos for hours now. I have so so many pics to edit. I might take a few days of work :D

  • What the? I can't believe it! It's so simple? Sure? F***ING BRILLIANT!!!

I know, that I need such function, but till this day, I don't know that this function is available...

I was always stretching and free transform the images to adjust the single photos. But the result never looks like yours!

Does it work with Cameras without "Panorama-Function"?

Now, I'm speechless... Thank you so much!!!

  • wow that blending was amazing, im gonna try it now :)

  • Very nice tutorial, But where can i get that cool Mac Theme?

  • You can get it by buying a mac.

  • wow. I was suprised at how accurate the blend mode was!! very nice

  • Thanks. Great turorial, easy to follow and really works for a average guy in photoshop too.

  • It's too bad I don't have photoshop cs4...

  • insane! thats really impressive

  • you are sooooo helpful!!! THANKYOU!

  • How do i make my Mac not have the aqua theme like your Mac is that like snow leopard?

or can i do it too?

  • you rock!!!! thanks a lot

  • i have been doing it all wrong. lol. i took like 30 billion pictures and then put it onto a panorama to make it semi-seamless

  • I'm having trouble putting the pictures on top of each other :( when i drag in more than 1 picture, it makes 3 Background layers that aren't on top of each other. HELP

  • They are on top of each other, you just can't see them because the top layer is hiding them. simply turn off each layer in order from top to bottom to see all the pics you have compiled together. hope this helps.

  • use the scripts command and load files into a stack.

  • omfg thank you gadget706!!

  • you are doing a great job

  • GREAT VIDEO! to bad i have no reason to use it...but thats besides the question. if i ever need to do this, i know how! thanks!

  • damn! wat settings u export ur vids in, even uf u dont press the HD button its still really high quality
