I'll tell you why they're remaking it: because the original movie has a hook for a sequel that has never been used, but they can't do a sequel of THAT movie, because they'd need the same actors with the same ages. So they have to remake it first.

noooo, the is nothing wrong with the orig, shouldnt do a remake. i bet it will lose its magic due to its new improved special effects

I can't think of a single reason why we need to remake this? Effects are timeless. It's set in 85 , and the story and characters are magical. Not sure I get it. About as nessasary as the Karate Kid remake.

I whipped this animation up in about 30 minutes. The rendering took about 8 hours for my computer to create.

DAZ/Bryce 3D is a very user friendly windows program. All of the animation stuff you see on my account except for the clip called "test again" was made in Daz/Bryce 3D.

I still dabble in it when I have time and it is a lot of fun.

Thanks! The 3D set up in Bryce was about 20 minutes but the animation rendering took about 8 hours .
