Whittier was built during ww2 as a militaey port and is now a terminal for cruise ships,the alaska state ferry system,and a rail barge servce that brings freight cars from the lower 48 as well as a small boat harbor.

LOL...Disco. Yeah...I actually got really bad wind burns in my hands....i've never had that b4 with cold weather. But it was an AWESOME trip dispite the pain and discomfort. lol.
